I have known Debra Hale for many years and have even referred a number of clients to her. I always get great feedback from them when they thank me later. Debra is a woman of integrity and is extremely well respected in the legal community. Because of that, judges frequently appoint her to represent children in custody cases which she does a lot of. Debra works hard to understand each parent's feelings but in the end, she is pretty direct with her opinions since she is required to tell the judges what she thinks is best for the children. That doesn't make her very popular but she stands by her work even when people get upset with her. That's just one of the many things I respect about her.

There should be a zero stars..This woman is an absolute piece of trash. Willing to lie to the courts to further her goals. She is the epitome of the problem with the family court system in Georgia. Seeing how she left snide remarks on others for telling the truth regarding her actions, I tried to attach exerts of her report and the actual document she referenced for your viewing. I assume since it was about a minor and sealed by the courts google allowed my review to removed. She lied about numerous things in her report, all the way through my time with her. Debra Hale is not recommended. Debra is unprepared, does not hold on to evidences. This has made me believe the rumors of her health condition. I hope she stays in good health. I pray Debra stays away from cases until she is in perfect good health. Debra Hale does not operate from best interest of kids/children.

I’m here to silence all naysayers: She is very knowledgeable of family law and has a great report with mediators and judges. If you walk into a court room with Debra Hale, the opposing should shiver. Complete and utter professionalism, deals with the facts, asks the right questions in the cross examination, protects the interests of her client, gives advice throughout the case as far as client conduct with opposing party, she is tough in the face of unethical and time wasting lawyers that use the tactic of unnecessary communication and time to run up her clients retainer, she has employed her mother as a gatekeeper, she’ll pray with you if requested, and she kicked keister in my divorce proceedings wish I could’ve retained her for my recent modification in Cobb county, but she doesn’t practice in Cobb.
