I had a very disappointing experience with Smart Tech Repair. I took my iPhone 14 Pro in for a screen replacement, and the new screen was poorly installed—it doesn’t fit properly, and the bottom part is wider than my original screen. When I first called to report the issue, they offered to take the screen back and give a full refund. However, after I left an honest review, they changed their mind and refused to fix the issue, even telling me not to call again. Very unprofessional and a waste of money. I would not recommend this place for phone repairs and it's home based business.

Absolutely terrible experience. My friend brought his phone in for a screen repair and left with a device that was basically unusable. They used a cheap, low-quality screen that broke Face ID and caused the phone to randomly turn on and off multiple times a day. The damage from the screen ended up affecting other internal components, and he had no choice but to go to Apple and pay $650 for a full replacement.

If you're thinking about trusting this place with your phone, **don’t.** Just read through all the 1-star reviews—people are not lying. These guys are reckless and careless with expensive devices. Save yourself the stress and money and go somewhere reputable.

This has been the absolute WORST experience I’ve ever had with a phone repair, and I feel completely ripped off. First of all, the business listing on Google is extremely misleading. It shows up as a legitimate shop, but when you get there, it’s literally someone’s house. That should’ve been my first clue to turn around, but I decided to give them a chance. Huge mistake.

Before I brought my phone in, it worked fine aside from the screen being detached. I could still use the phone perfectly as long as I held the screen in place. All I needed was for the screen to be reattached properly. After this guy “fixed” it, my phone worked for about 10 minutes before it started powering off randomly. Now, it doesn’t even stay on—it just keeps shutting off and says to connect to my Mac for a restore. I tried restoring it, but even that doesn’t work. This issue ONLY started after he touched my phone.

To make matters worse, he replaced my original screen with a cheap, low-quality knockoff. It’s flimsy, dim, and completely unresponsive. I paid good money expecting a professional repair, but instead, I’m left with a phone that’s in worse condition than when I brought it in. And now, he’s refusing to take responsibility for the mess he caused or refund my money.

If you’re thinking about going here, save yourself the headache and go somewhere reputable. This business is shady, unprofessional, and a complete scam. The guy takes your money, uses garbage parts, and leaves you with a broken phone and no accountability. Avoid this place at all costs!

1 Star - Worst Repair Shop Experience Ever

Took my friend’s phone here and it came back worse than before. The screen they installed was clearly cheap—Face ID stopped working completely, and the phone started glitching and turning itself off constantly. Apple confirmed the repair caused damage to other parts of the phone, and he had to spend $650 for a replacement. Avoid this place like the plague. All the other 1-star reviews are spot on.

Super disappointed with this, it’s a HOUSE I come up to and this dude really has the audacity to charge me 140$ for a screen that’s probably from Ali express or temu. It barely works, I have to swipe with my life to even change the screen or move it. Your better off fixing it your self then letting this dude touch your phone.

Do not go here. I dropped my iPhone 14 pro off to get the front screen fixed and then it was returned with a large open space at the bottom of the screen. The owner then tried to pass the phone off to me as if nothing was wrong. I asked for him to fix the problem and he said it would be no problem. I was then brought the phone with the cracked original screen that I brought it to him with. The screen was now even more cracked than when I brought it to him and the screen was not even pushed all the way into the phone. He had to take the phone in for a third time. Waste of my time and ended with a phone that was more cracked than I started with!
