If you are deeply in debt, been sued by creditors, or just aren’t satisfied with how your current “debt resolution” lawyer is handling your case, Jim Feagle is hands down the lawyer to have on your side. Don’t waste your time going around in circles like I did paying hundreds to lawyers, or what appears to be a law firm offering debt settlement services run mostly by paralegals. Here’s why Jim would be a great help to your debt situation, mental health, and financial future:

1) From the first call, the ONLY person I spoke to was Jim. No one else. Not a paralegal, not any administrative staff. ALL pertinent communication on my cases were with Jim. Period.

I’ve interacted with more than 50 lawyers, and this exceptional experience with Jim has not been duplicated by any other lawyer I engaged. After signing the contract, I’ve had to go through non-attorney staff for follow up matters. Some did not even call back. Every time I called or emailed, Jim responded the same day or the next business day.

Yes, his assistant set up payment arrangements via email, but all case related discussion and more than fair payment arrangements were with Jim. Jim has been in this business for over 30 years. Not only is this not his first rodeo, he truly and humanly understands the financial strain his clients are under and does his utmost to help you.

2) Protecting clients is first and foremost on Jim’s mind. No other attorney among the 50 I’ve interacted with comes close to replicating Jim’s regard for his clients. Since the statute of limitations has awhile to run out, Jim voluntarily penned a note to protect my interests by having a written record of his firm’s representation in case he retires before the statute of limitations runs out. Strikingly, this was not the case with the first “law firm” I engaged. They wanted full payment for the second lawsuit on the same debt.

3) Jim spelled out the reasonable best outcome possible (debt dismissal) as well as the worst, along with the shades of grey in between. If a lawyer just wants to settle your debt for X% without asking questions to understand your financial history and current situation, I would get a second opinion. I’m not saying such an attorney is not good, I’m recommending you should consult an attorney like Jim who has years of experience dealing with the same plaintiff’s attorney and law firm.

4) To achieve my highly desirable outcome, Jim had to spend about three hours after normal business hours to ask me questions and understand:

- my background
- how I got so deep into debt
- what led to being delinquent
- why making future payments would be extremely challenging

5) Having understood my financial predicament, my suffocating debt, and the slim possibility of emerging from being under water for so long, Jim did not over promise and under deliver. He instead under promised and over delivered by a fair margin. The price for his legal services was more than worth the very reasonable cost. For every $1 you pay, the value you get from his legal expertise is many multiples to me.

After this experience, one thing is certain, if I am sued for debt in future, I would only call ONE lawyer. Jim Feagle. He is all round the best attorney money can buy for resolving my mountain of credit card debt, my mental sanity (I woke up in the middle of the night fearing judgements against me), my healthcare issues (resulting from my debt) and rescuing my financial future. Jim humanly expressed empathy but his words were not just platitudes. He used the weight of his long and focused career (consumer protection is Jim’s expertise) to help me get back on my feet. He is the lawyer you need.
