Had my will looked at by another lawyer and they noticed that it was not even notarized or written in a manner that would not cause problems when probating. Have to pay again for another will. I feel he was neglectful in representing me in another matter. No adequate preparation for court appearances.

Women in the office were great at their job and very professional. My problem was the actual lawyer. I lost my case due to him not focusing on my case, he didn’t even remember my kids names and barely represented me. It was an out of state case. I had to fly back over 5 times to get this figured out. My divorce got settled but my kids environment now was what I was fighting against. My lawyer could have fought harder with the evidence I had. He didn’t even look at it.

What an experience. My initial call, the person (I believe his wife) stopped me mid sentence and said she had to call me back. Ok. Hours passed. No return call. so I called back. Their phone system is not set up for messages. Ok. I called back again. Around 4 hours later, Christine I believe is her name called and wanted to know what I wanted. I stated I am a returning client and that I wanted to update my will. Adding that I wanted to leave a trust for my grandchildren in an effort to forgo inheritance tax. Christine then berated me for wanting to "avoid" taxes; she then asked if I enjoyed riding on nice roads or if I enjoyed "good schools". At last I said "I don't see it that way" rather than continue with her fractious nature. Can we say "Personality Disorder" as in Borderline Personality Disorder or Narcissistic Personality Disorder boys and girls? Whew! The wife called me back and I asked who was the other person who called me - she stated it was Christine (?) Mr. Geeter's legal assistant. No thank you. What a whacky experience. Mr. Geeter, I regarded you as a professional and a top notch attorney. No thank you. Clearly Christine does not know how to deal with the public - in addition and most annoying is that she continued to say "Most people feel taxes are onerous." When in fact feelings are happy, mad, sad, etc. More appropriately "People feel unhappy because they believe taxes to be onerous". Feelings and Thoughts are not the same. Whew! I feel relieved I did not make an appointment because I believe this law practice has many problems. Going to another attorney.

Mr. Geeter is amazing! His office staff is just as amazing! They always answer your questions and if you call and they don’t answer, they will call you back. They are very personable and they want to get to know you! They are all very honest and truthful! Short and sweet and to the point. Would recommend to anyone!
