Went and got my tag and registration and also switch my title over paid for it the same day only for it to take my whole paycheck 10 days later they do not tell you it is a pending charge and they charge for using the card itself

I read the reviews on this site. I was amazed at the complaints, because I've never been treated bad or spoken to with disrespect from any of the staff here. I've been in Walker county for almost 5, from living in Catoosa county for over 15 years. Never a problem there either. I go in with a smile and leave with one. I changed my regular tag to prestige with no problem. I've cancelled a tag, due to my vehicle being totaled. I have a veterans tag, I asked if it could be transferred to my next vehicle? They politely said yes no problem.
Not to impugn anyone's description of their accounts with what happened. I hope that your next visit will be much better than the last.

I had arrived right when they were opened and needed to be at work at 9am. Alicia was so kind and patient. I needed a tag and registration, but I was having a minor issue with my insurance. She was sweet and guided me through the process to get what I needed. She was never rude or impatient. I was out of there in 30 mins and got to work early. The most pleasant experience I have had dealing with tag and registration offices. I can not for any other time than first thing in the morning.

They are hateful, they are rude. They do make you feel stupid. God forbid they ever smile at anyone! It costs nothing to be friendly, kind and to smile at someone. The really good review in here, matches the last name of an employee in there. Probably her relative! If you don't want to be nice to someone, don't work with the public! Lots of people would love to have that job and would be customer oriented. Yea, it's a government job, but you are still dealing with customers!

I have had extremely rude service from one particular lady that is working there. I have family who have served in the past, and currently serving our country in the military. She is treating our veterans with complete disrespect. In one situation, she had to mutter to herself over and over ‘don’t get mad’ after a request by my son for a military tag. Another, tried to refuse another veteran a tag simply because she didn’t want to look up the information to order the tag. This place needs an overhaul! It’s frustrating that the public has to DREAD dealing these people!
