Referred by a Supreme Court judge and a queens council lawyer and Yet this firm has no respect at all to call us promptly yet a week later to say they’re not taking new clients or are busy. Then they ask us to call Refer lawyer service, which was very insulting as we are looking for experienced lawyers that judges in court respect. Most are inexperienced here yet act like they’re a huge a Vancouver law firm or QC lawyers. Based on their disrespect for clients, I highly suggest to avoid this firm they don’t care about you and above all I will stick to Vancouver firms and I can see how the difference.

Full disclosure: my former partner is a client with Origin Law Group.

Initially they were quick and responsive and there was finally hope that there was going to be progress. However, over the last three months there is little or no communication, promised timelines and deadlines are fully missed. No responses to emails for weeks. Last month the lawyer admitted that all delays were because of him, vacation schedules, and delays in answering his client.

As such, I would recommend working with them if you want to have initially high hopes, and disappointing followthrough, and delivery.

go to the bc law society website and google … it’s true facts posted on its website about one of these lawyers. ‍♀️ lawyer has multiple reviews with law society from his own former clients…. Forget how he carries himself towards the opposing parties. Good read on the law society web page. You can look him up by last name. I’m surprised he hasn’t been disbarred yet.

Thanks God I ran into Summit at the New West court house . I met Sumit at the perfect time . I had been in and out of family court for 3.5 years on my own while the opposing party had a lawyer .I was at the end of my rope with regards to the pressure of the situation . Sumit , Dr Bratch his articled student and Ava his paralegal were fantastic as well as the rest of the staff at Origin law . Sumit not only guided me through the process but spoke to me in a way that got through to me in times were I was angry and frustrated which helped me to calm down and act accordingly in what was a high strung and volatile mediation.If the mediation had failed and we went to trial . I think I would have came out the other end in bad shape as I had terrible experiences in-front of judges without legal counsel. If you have a family law matter . Call Origin law .
