Suzanne was OK at the beginning but later on became very sexist and did not want to listen to a single word that was the truth. The lawyers she sent me up with wanted to do nothing but post pone and go through mediation rather than take it to court, where they make no money. Instead they quit and said it was because of me. One of the lawyers she sent me up with would go a month without responding and blame me for sending continuous emails asking for a response. Suzanne has approved my ex girlfriend for legal aid even though she makes $45 an hour and as a full-time nurse. Yet I cannot get it at all. Disappointed would be an understatement!

The office does what it can with the overloaded capacity that they always have. The truth is depending on the case you are better off doing your homework and find yourself the best lawyer suited for you, unfortunately this comes with a high price but what higher price is there than the possibility losing your freedom or any case that deserves judgement on your behalf and if you value that than money becomes but a tool to facilitate the desired end result, may the force be with you.

Legal Aid was helpful and awesome but twice I got terrible lawyers that did almost nothing and I still have legal problems after 4 years. Deep issues within the system needs to be addressed to truly help people who need help.

Legal aid is a joke, wont cover basic things. Even if u dont have an income. Unless ur kids in foster care or with the ministry u get zero help with custody battle. Such a joke, and Suzanne the intake worker is judgemental and arrogant.

Suzanne the intake worker was unprofessional, belittling and judgemental. Apparently people struggling are lucky to receive any FREE help or information because our time is worthless.

legal aid is a waste of time,they did nothing to help me with my family matter and I'm on disability and unable to pay thousands for a family case lawyer.what a terrible service!!!

Unprofessional. Once it is established that your income disqualifies you, you become a waste of their time. You then rapidly get dismissed.
