I called Legal Aid Society on August 9th, I called again today 8/19/21 I finally got Robert, I explained why I was calling and calling back. Nice guy, but couldn't answer any of my questions. I asked if I could possibly speak to someone and he sad no. He gave me a number to call in Asbury Park. Community affairs, the lady said we don't answer legal questions that she would call him back for me. Lmao! So I'm writing this to see if someone could please call me.its a landlord tenant issues

I don't understand why this place is listed as a legal aid place if they can't defend anyone, and only give general information that you already know. At least that's what happened with me when i contacted them for help. I was told they can't defend me even though they're listed as helping with landlord/tenant matters.
