This office is a complete joke. They never helped anyone who truly needed it. I've been disappointed by the lack of assistance due to circumstances I was brought upon due to a lack of affordable housing. When I had an income with solid credibility plus rental history, no criminal issues, and while I was trying to reach out yet due to defamation that cost me housing. They felt it wasn't worth their time. ?

They don't exist! I've been trying to get ahold of them now for four months now and they don't answer the phone and they don't return your calls. If I could, I would bring a law suit against them.

If you're poor, don't bother if you don't have money . There is no help except for free Google app for free law, and one was $ 5. Some are totally free, but no money, no help, hear I tried repeatedly . Thank you Google.

Called for 3 days no answer, no way to leave a message, so I went in person. I stood in the lobby and called, watched receptionist look at, and then ignore my call. When I approached she said services were not available and sent me to the courthouse. I cannot even say how I feel at this point... Beyond comprehension.

I was hoping to get help paying my rent so I could stay in my apt while I have eye surgery and then begin my new job. They said they would just advise me so now my cats and I will be homeless and I'm going to loose my sight in both eyes and can't work. I have had several referrals but my rent is 1000$ and most won't give more than 200 and won't give until you prove you have the rest. Then some places get mad at you like it's their money they are giving and put you down. I spent 3 years outside with my cat. Now I'll be out there without my eyesight. Unless you're homeless there's no help for 72 yr old disabled women. Arches told me at one point to come back when I'm living in my car. My apartment house is filled with tent people but me who paid so many years full rent, well I'm being thrown to the dogs. I'll die out there or I'll die trying to not go there again.i have the right to refuse homelessness anyway I have to.

Out of the blue, after not hearing from social security for years, I was a sent a notice of overpayment from a bill I knew nothing about. I reached out to legal aid and their wonderful attorney Ana helped me with my issue and it was completely resolved. Thanks Legal Aid Services of Salem!
