Unfortunately I found absolutely useless, they seem to handle only domestic violence and only low income. they don't refer you to lawyers for anything outside of this and it really just wastes 6 minutes of your time maybe more. hopefully you don't have to suffer this entity and you find what you need.

I’m really upset. I have literally called constantly every single day in the morning even when they’re open during the start of the day I got a hold of an attorney finally had my case open but get no response back from anything updating me about representing me or helping me during my custody parenting time and modification judgment case The story is that I need help. I want someone to represent me because I don’t have the time and I’m having a hard time with dealing with all this myself and I need someone to have the best interest for my kids but instead I keep playing phone tag call and leave voicemails get Hang up on for almost nearly 3 months Then once my court case comes up, they reply late an now i can’t be represented I’ve constantly told them my name & what I’m seeking help with & they ignore me from what it seem is because I’m a dad, an my case is civil.. it’s not fair I’m completely unhappy an shock how I’m being ignore when I have spoke to attorneys and never been reply back to

Update: Nope, they never got back to me after 2 months, that person I spoke with outright lied!

I agree with those 1-star reviews here, that person I spoke with was trying very hard to get rid of me, to dissuade me from getting help. She is supposed to call me back tomorrow, now that I have read the all those negative reviews here - which they don't even bother to address - I would be very, very surprised they get back to me at all.

The extraordinary and incredibly important service legal aid provides and the difference it makes in our community is immeasurable.

Over the last 5 years there have been several occasions Lwgal Aid has come to our rescue. Without them and the services they provide I TRULY dont know where my son and I would be.

In several occasions they've help us successfully stand up for ourselves by making us aware of our rights and the law.

And when needed Legal Aid (and representatives associated with) stood up for us in court and/ or provided us with crucial legal guidance allowing us to successfully represent ourselves.

Each time they were extremely timely, communicated clearly, were dependable, and knowledgeable.

And each time we either won in court, or prevented our rights from being violated, and helped us uphold laws.. Twice in the last 5 years Legal Aid ( and representatives associated with) gave us the tools needed that prevented us from being homeless.

Our quality of life is absolutely better as a result.
And I was able to show and teach my son that the law Can be on our side, the little guy Can stand up for themselves, and good Can prevail.

They gave us hope and guided us through times of darkness. It's amazing to have access to Legal Aid , representatives associated with, and their. services. As a result we're thankful to have a trusted friend in the legal system.

We realize much of your work is volunteer based and/ or offers little compensation.

You'll never really know the gravity or extent of how much you being there has changed my families (and I'm sure MANY others) lives for the better.

Legal Aid has given us, and others in our community, hope when there was none.

Was asking questions about where I could get help with terrible HUD Bldg I'm living in couldn't help nor refer me to a place I might get directed to. Got good luck So not sure if I would trust Legal Aid for any further help

Not very customer service friendly. Not listening to what my needs were and interrupting every time I tried to explain my situation. No referral information. I've paid my taxes all my life and never asked for anything No Health care help food stamps. Yet so many people these days get everything especially when they lie about what happened and work for cash and get away with it. I have called many of times to mention that people come into where I work pull out all their food card monies and use it for gambling and brag about how easy it is to get. And how dumb the caseworker they have are. This so very wrong and sad. I can't even get help for a man has pushed and threatened to hurt me and my car and dog. Why is that?
