After terminating Nicole Kozycki law services she agreed to give a refund of $3000 in which I paid as a down payment to do a i485. She's now changed her mind and claims that I might have a balance to pay her for made up fees in which her assistant has been emailing me requesting documents that I already uploaded to the shared google doc files months ago. All of sudden they are scrambling to generate fake Billable Hours in order to charge me a rate of $150 an hr for every email and phone call communication with me to justify stealing my money. No work was done in regards to my case because they were waiting on me to get paperwork together that I've done all by myself. Her office even charged me an extra $1000 because of my criminal history in which they want me to get my arrest records over which only cost $45 online in which she could of requested herself. They will send you to gather all kinds of paperwork and charge you at the same time for work they are supposed to be doing. I just want my refund as I reach a burning point where I'm disgusted with most of these immigration lawyers that's just here for a quick buck. She claimed she had no access to seeing my files which is a lie because I always updated it through the google docs in which her assistant Chris has been emailing for the past 6 months requesting files that were already uploaded. After I noticed Chris has been requesting the same paperwork that has already been uploaded I decided to terminate their services because we are going in circles and getting no where at my expense. I realize they were doing this in order to justify keeping my money. For every email they sent me they are claiming they have work on my files for over 18.7 hours which I know it takes less than 2 minutes to generate a 2 sentence email. They feel they have the right to abuse the law as fit but I won't let this go and will be reporting it to the Bar association as she is not fit to be a lawyer or to represent anyone. The initial quote given to me was $4250 and they added $1000 a year later because I have a criminal background from NY in which the NY Government already vacated all minor marijuana charges and Nicole still hasn't requested any of my records from NY as her office is asking me to do it. Fine no problem as they should be paying me for doing their work.

They are charging me Billable Hours 18.7 Hours x 150 Hourly $2,800
Still no paperwork filed. I am trying to really find out where my money went as I am back to square one with nothing done. Time wasted and my hard working dollars gone.
