Great family owned business that care about their customers. They get awesome and one of a kind items. Some auctions are more of a museum of times & cultures. Always a great time!

I was bidding on an item and the auction did not provide either a Fair Warning or Last Call and I, therefore, lost the item to another bidder. This did not occur with the other items in the auction. I received this notice: "Someone else placed an earlier or higher bid, or your bid wasn't approved." I bid in advance of the auction and was the only bidder at that time and the only watcher. I received an approval to bid notice from the auction house prior to bidding, so, neither of these things were true. It was frustrating and a waste of a Saturday afternoon and leads me to question the integrity of this auction house.

In response to the owner's thoughtless response which does not even pretend to investigate my complaint:

No, you don't. You did not in this case. I was shocked when the auction ended abruptly. Moreover, I noticed you regularly adjusting the asking price -- even raising it! -- after bidding had started on other items. I've complained to LiveAuctioneers. I buy a lot of art through LiveAuctioneers and this was the only unsatisfactory experience I have ever had. Something is wrong here and other bidders should know there is some likelihood they will be cheated during the bidding process if they attempt to bid on your items. If they are looking for antiques, I recommend they read the other one and two star reviews. I regret I didn't. I probably dodged a bullet and was fortunate not to win the item, but I am still really annoyed.

Such a down to earth fun auction.

Family run and never know what treasures you may find! Not only is the atmosphere energetic but you never know what will happen next....you may be a witness of the next comedy reality show 🤣🤣

They really enjoy their customers and always there to answer any questions.

I sat for hours waiting for a table and chairs I wanted. I won the bid, but then the auctioneer said "now let's see if we can sell this as a set" (referring to 2 matching pieces that had already been auctioned off). A dealer bought the already sold pieces. Dirty pool!!
