The paperwork was never corrected and somehow the judge still signed off on the guardian and conservatorship. If you want ethical representation and correct legal paperwork, DO NOT use this firm. I will be contacting the bar association about this firm.

My aunt hired this attorney to handle her request for guardianship and conservatorship of my mother. I received the papers in the mail along with a letter to call if I had any questions. I left several voicemails and sent emails to ask to speak to someone because a good deal of the paperwork was wrong. For example:
*my mother's name was wrong
*my aunt's name was wrong
*people were mis-gendered

There were other errors and missing information. I wanted to see if we could get the paperwork corrected so I could sign it and my aunt would have the authority she needs to handle my mother's affairs. I will not sign legal paperwork that is incorrect. It's been over a week and I still have not received any call backs or had an email replies. They have all my contact information and yet no one can be bothered to call me or even email to say Mr. Brisendine is busy/in court, etc.

If you choose to deal with this firm, please check your paperwork carefully and I hope they will be more responsive to you than they have been to me.
