I don't feel Ms. James handled my case in my best interest at all, but thankfully, my dad is a former LEO, and after meeting Ms. James during my first hearing, he approached another attorney at the courthouse, who took over my case. I did not feel heard or as if my best interests were being looked out for. At the time, I was a 21-year-old college student enrolled in a program that mandated me to maintain a clean criminal record and obtain a state license post-graduation. Being told I could "explain the situation" to the licensing board and future employers made me think my life was over. Rather than accepting the sentence, pleading guilty, and risking a permanent mark on my record, my new attorney tirelessly fought for two years to secure the best possible outcome for me. I completed all of my court requirements and fees within two months and never had to report to a PO. I now have no record, graduated with two degrees, and haven't had to stress about having a record each time I have a background check performed.

I honestly don’t know where to begin to express my gratitude and how happy I am with the service I received! In my opinion, Mrs. James went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations! I feel as God worked through Mrs.James and I received the best outcome that I could have received in my cases! She took the time to make sure every aspect was covered and was also a very compassionate person through it all. I felt like she understood how I felt and what I was going through without judgement. Not only was she VERY reasonably priced, she made me feel like I got my moneys worth! A lot of lawyers seem to only care about money, whereas Mrs. James seems to care about the outcome of her clients more! She is really good. I hired her for a DUI and carless driving charge and the alcohol level was doubled. She done exactly what she said she would do. I highly recommend her. It wasn't Me it was for someone else.

I have utilized Cynthia’s services on many occasions; you have to realize she has other clients than just you. That being said: YOU are just as important to her as her other clients. You will get the attention you need when you need it. Judges allow for this and will not hold it against you if your lawyer needs to be elsewhere. I have always gotten excellent effort from Cynthia and her staff. She will make you feel at ease about anything; she is a straight shooter; let’s face it... your asking for legal help because something is needing fixed; she will get you to the best place you can end up in any situation. She has served me in family law; criminal law; helping to secure state licensing; reviewed my GCIC; she will listen to your plight and honestly tell you how she can help or what to expect. Just today, I stopped by her office to thank her for her help and guidance in the past. You will do yourself absolutely no harm by asking her about your case. Please please please read the reviews before hiring this firm. You have to give starts to post but If I could give her negative stars I would. Do not give them any money or hire them for anything you need done. My husband and I hired Cynthia for a modification of his original divorce decree and to modify child support. After taking 5 months to get something filed with the courts, Cynthia filed the absolute wrong things, NOTHING what we hired her for. She filed a contempt motion against the ex-wife NOT any modifications. To make matters worse. We were told by Janis, Cynthia's "office help", to stop paying child support on a child over the age of 18. On the day of court my husband was found in contempt for this. To add insult to injury we had asked SEVERAL times about the child support issue to make sure that we were doing what was right and every time we were told we absolutely did not need to pay for the child over 18 and we were not in the wrong. The day of court was a train wreck. If I was a betting women I would say that Cynthia was drunk, but I can't prove that. She could't remember anything. Had what she did "know" all wrong and was a fumbling idiot in front of everyone. Pretty sure the judge also wanted nothing to do with her and doesn't think very highly of her. That was pretty clear by his actions towards her. She made my husband and myself look like COMPLETE incompetent idiots.Which I'll say we definitely had a lapse in judgment when we hired her but only because we did not have anyone else giving us advise against her. Which is why I am letting everyone know of our experience. We have had to hire another atty and incur more fees to try and fix the horrible mess Cynthia and Janis have created and also take legal action against Cynthia and Janis for stealing our money and not providing the services hires for. Upon hiring new counsel we were advice that Cynthia has been ripping a lot of other people off as well. She should not be in practice anymore. Please save yourself time and money and steer clear of them. This whole case should have been done in 6 mos, it took us over a year and nothing but more fees and legal action after everything. Stay away from this place.
