The office is a joke and the people working there Gilmore and Reid have bad attitudes. I had to call 7-8 times before I was able to get the information I needed because Gilmore wanted to hang up, place me on hold then try to tell me to stop having an attitude after she consistently hung up and placed me on hold all while yelling into the phone and having an attitude herself. My Fiancé spoke to his lawyer Ms Marsh last week and was set to go to court Monday and she did not show up. Trying to get any information about what is going on is a dead end. The people in the office are rude and disrespectful and the defense attorneys are never available for the inmates. Clayton County is still corrupt and need to hire new people in their offices. How can the inmates and family get in contact with the lawyers without going through the issues of calling the office? We have been calling all week and still have no information about what is going on.

After 3 years of a pending violent felony charge which wasn’t really the case Ms Katie Marsh had my case dismissed without going to trial which could’ve jeopardized my freedom for an indictment serving 5 years max. Im now able to go back to my regular life and working a job in my career field providing for my children better. Thank you Ms Katie. Forever thankful.

I'm very disappointed in the public defenders my son has been locked up since May of 2024 for a crime that he did commit he has not spoken to his assigned attorney every time he's had court his attorney gets switched or the judge changes always something. I've tried to find out why his case keeps getting continued and why no one from either side of the court has said anything to this kid even as far as bail nothing but this is very bad weather he's guilty or not i believe in the time he's been locked up detained or whatever you want to call it it shouldn't take this without any communication from his attorney

I’m so sorry y’all have had bad experiences with this office as I’ve had my fair share of issues with it as well. I was assigned 3 different attorneys and my case has been ongoing since March of 2021. So I have been extremely worried about this situation because I was facing a felony case that I had proof of my innocence. I’m beyond grateful for Attorney Mrs. Thurman she informed me today that my case has been dismissed. She has been nothing but understanding and helpful with my case. She knows what she is doing and I promise she is who you want on your case! She deserves a raise.
