Recently, I sent my son’s Glock 19X in to C&H for slide milling. They advertised 4-6 weeks for completion. That is reasonable in my opinion. Imagine my surprise (and appreciation) when I received and email letting me know that after only 10 days, my son’s slide was completed and heading my way via Fed Ex.

I actually called them to say thank you on the phone! I really appreciate that level of commitment to customer service! I will be sending (and purchasing) more services and products from this great company!

I recently sent 2 slides for milling with C&H Precision. A S&W M&P shield 9mm(1st gen) and a 3rd gen Glock 17. I had these slides milled for Trijicon RMRcc and RMR, respectively. Along with the milling work, I selected the option to install new back up irons with the low cowitness on both slides. I had a great experience with C&H and Aaron was helpful with my questions from start to finish.

I had trouble finding pictures or info about milling a 1st gen shield for the RMRcc, so I had a lot of questions for Aaron before sending it off. This thing turned out great. The cuts are super precise and the new back up sights are really low, but provide a very usable co witness. With back up irons and the red dot on this slide, there's not a ton of real estate left over. The back of the rear sight overhangs the back of the slide ever so slightly, but hasn't proven to be an issue while carrying AIWB. C&H did buy me a new slide for the shield because they milled the rear site dovetail too large on the first try. I was told it was a measuring mistake on the machine, but they got me a new slide asap and sent the original back so I've got a spare now. It extended my lead time a bit, but I think I still had both slides back within 4 weeks as they stated on their website.

The G17 has new life with the dot and new sites. This one is pretty straightforward and everyone had probably seen about 1000 pictures of a G17 milled for an RMR by now. Cuts are clean and tight on this one, too.

The machine work and install job on red dots and iron sites is really nice. Very clean, no bubba gun smithing going on. Cerakote on the milled sections was smooth and well applied. Communication was prompt and informative. I would definitely recommend C&H to anyone looking to mill a slide.

Just got back from the range. The built in rear sight makes it super quick to acquire the red dot. Love the sight! Major upgrade to my pistol. Customer service is incredible too. Needed different size screws for my Shield + and they were shipped out immediately. My new go-to company for any new red dot sights.

I had C&H cut my slide for an optic and they did a great job. I am very happy with the finish and had the slide back on earlier date then promised.

I have a S&W M&P that I have never been happy with the iron sights. I sent the slide in for milling to accept a Vortex Red Dot. When the slide returned I was blown away by the way it looked. Just like it could have come from the factory. The cerakote matched the original finish perfectly. The Vortex sight fit perfectly into the milled area, all 4 lugs and screw holes matched up just right. I am very pleased with the final results

I was really worried about having slide milling service done but let me tell you, I was shocked at the excellent workmanship from C-H precision… not to mention that they received my slide 2 days before before
Hurricane Helene hit their home state.
The fit was perfect and the communication about my questions was spot on.

I finally sent my SIG p 320 for optic milling. I will admit at first I was concerned, not knowing the outcome of this process. But let me explain you that the finish result was spectacular. I am very impressed with the workmanship of it. Wow, I will recommend for anyone who is considering milling their pistol slide to give them a shot. You will not be disappointed.
