My Aunt passed away at 94, leaving me as her Durable Power of Attorney. I did not know what I was in for. I needed an attorney and Alex came highly recommended. I met with him because when I went to sell her home, which had a reverse mortgage, I found out Medicaid had a lien on the house for $48,000 and I would need to bring that amount to closing. I had 5 days' notice of this, and I did NOT have $48,000. He said he would call the Medicaid attorney and get them the paperwork. He came through, they dropped their lien because I was not making any profit on the home, and we closed on the house. He continued to check on me, after the case and made sure I was OK and that we closed. He has a heart for the people he represents.
