2 Stars instead of 1 Star, because they did do the absolute bare minimum and get my case done, and were always polite. But that is about the only positive from my experience with them.

It took them over 6.5 months to complete my Custody Modification Order...6.5 Months!

Then original lawyer I was working with (Willis) was super unresponsive and would take weeks to get back to me. I had to come into the office on several occasions to hand deliver documents because he would not confirm he received my documents via e-mail.

I was told in the middle of July that the aforementioned Lawyer (Willis) was no longer with them, and that someone else in the office would take over my case for me. At that point, it was taken care of in 2 weeks. Awesome. But why did it take 6 months to get to that point

After the case was finally settled, I had asked them to fax the documents to the Regional Office of DHFS, to which they replied that they will, no problem. They never did. I followed up with them again on this a month later. Never even got a response back, and of course they didn't do it then either.

They are very kind and friendly people, but that doesn't always make for good business relations. I will not be using their services going forward, because they didn't treat me or my case as important, and were very unresponsive. Be advised

DO NOT GO HERE. They never reached out to me for information. Called me the day prior to court at 4pm to let me know Court was scheduled for the next day. Completely screwed me over in court. I got probably the harshest punishment I could’ve gotten without jail time. My original lawyer was Willis, who left a few months after i paid my fees. My new lawyer following that, Jason Bice, tried explaining to me that he did all he can do for me in the court room. I will NEVER use them again nor do I recommend them to anybody. I never plan on needing a lawyer again, but if I were to, I’d spend an extra $1000 on a different lawyer before the thought of using this firm even comes to mind.
