Respect! Attorney Russ King certainly has mine. He is also held in high regard by opposing counsel. After recently besting my attorney in an unrelated (long, contentious) case, she recommended I add him to our trial team. It was a GREAT decision! Russ is awesome. I spent around 40k in legal fees and my opponent spent almost 700k in legal fees and he destroyed them. Maybe he should raise his rates!

He is efficient and magnificent in court. He adjusts and changes strategy like a great NFL coach during “game time”- trial.

We sued the opponent for legal fees and won my money back! I highly recommend!

Barbara King was amazing to work with. An exceptional attorney who not only cares to win for her clients but also cares for the well-being of her clients. I paid $350 for a consultation that was very informative. Barbara explained that I had enough evidence to do this on my own (I did) even though she could have had me pay her just to represent me. That is truly serving someone's best interest. Even though she was not representing me- she still was more than happy to take a call on a Sunday before my hearing to help prepare me. They truly only care about money and draining every dollar you have. I had a $250 consultation with one partner, was transferred to the other partner and had to re-explain everything and pay to speak with him on the phone. Three weeks later nothing had been done.
I had checks that bounced from tenants I was trying to evict and they haven't called me back since Dec 5th. Checks that they told me not to deposit. When I came to them the tenants had already agreed to leave, I simply wanted someone to ensure that they didn't screw me over even more. I lost money from rent, had to pay bounced checked fees and spent thousands with King and Yaklin. Be careful because they will force you to call or email them to get information about your case just to bill out more hours. They do not follow up with you. Very disappointed with the lack of care and customer service.

Steve Yaklin and Matt Wilkins have represented me more than 8 years, on several situations, with family, and family land . They represented me on a front page case involving major theft from my 90 plus year old Mother and aided in sending 2 persons to prison, with monies recovered. They have now found information a family estate attorney could not find for 2.5 years, and in 48-72 hours they found enough information to drop the estates debt to the IRS from $6M to approx $1M. They are kind, they listen and respond to every single question or concern. They have always made me feel as I am their most important client, and they charge fairly. I now live in SC, but King, Yaklin and Wilkins are still my attorneys of trust which I rely on. I recommend them to everyone which needs an attorney. I consider them family. In my opinion, there are no better attorneys in Marietta.

My girlfriend and I had the WORST experience with this law firm. She paid $3,500 for a divorce case with a lawyer who has been a family friend for over 10 years. During this time she said the $3,500 would cover the entire case because of the relationship. And now, OUT OF NOWHERE they are demanding more money. Another $3,000 also they are threatening to put a lien on her house. These people have ZERO class and are attacking a single mother of two who is just now getting a little help from me. Not only is a divorce stressful enough as is but to put this in the mix three weeks before Christmas time is absolutely disgusting. I do not see how these people sleep at night. I will be contacting Fox iteam investigation about this matter. So sad

I can only speak of Steve Yaklin and his team. Steve and Nancy Smith were as professional as it comes. While this case was a very unprofessional suit that was completely out of the ordinary for them. They handled it with class and great technique. Steve knows his stuff and Nancy is just a great person to help you along with the case.
