I also wanted to say that Adam did an amazing job as well! I appreciate how he took the time to research and respond to all my questions and my many calls to the office!! Adam was always thorough, patient and very professional!!! (I remember when i came into the office one day and i was talking to Adam, i started crying and he listened to my frustrations and also encouraged me!! I appreciated that)!! For an inmate and their family, SOME INFORMATION IS BETTER THAN NO INFORMATION! Thats what helps them get through this situation in their lives!! You may not know this but when my Son got arrested, he wanted to so some research on GOOD EXPERIENCED ATTORNEYS before he actually chose one! He asked other inmates in the facility who did they recommend and your name kept coming up and it also was very popular in the facility! Recommendations from other inmates is what sent us to your office! Mr. Hilliard, your practice is definitely highly recommended!!!

Could have done more to help me in my divorce case. He let things slip through the crackes such as the child visitation that could have been better structured. He didn't go over with me how the child visitation should be structured other than a graduated visitation for the father, but instead he left it all up to the courts to make the final decision without any requests made to the court on my behalf about how I would want the graduated schedule to be setup. So, things are messed up and I'm going to have to go back to court to try to fix it. Then he tells me that the Judge could have come up with better terms for a graduated visitation, after the fact. Yea you think? I feel my case was rushed without preparing well enough for it. I really would not recommend him especially if you have children involved in the divorce case. He lets too many important things slip through the crackes that can put your case in jeopardy. I just happened to have had a pretty much slam dunk case other than the child visitation that's all messed up and needs to be modified now. Things about how visitation for the kids graduated schedule were not addressed in court like it should have been. That's the difference in a good attorney and a crappie one. He needed to council me on terms of how a graduated schedule could be setup. Such as asking the court not to allow overnight visits, prohibit the father from taking kids on long distance trips and etc. due to the fact that the father had abandoned the children for over 3 years with no interaction from him at all and the Covid pandemic as far as the kids travel. None of this was ever discussed with me even though I mentioned some of these issues numerous times about my concerns for visitation. This attorney showed very little concern and made no real effort to bring these matters up during or before the hearing. I'm very upset with him for trying to side track the real issues by trying to talk about my attitude and my ex's attitude as if he knows us so well when he does not. All he knows about me is related to the case. My personality or character he knows nothing about. I only delt with this attorney for a few weeks and that's it. He does not know me and only dealt with me for a short time and for him to try to attack my character is very unprofessional, incompetent, and low of him. This guy is bad news. I would advise to stay clear of him.

A friend of mine hired Mr. Hilliard for me. Mr. Hilliard was very honest, knowledgeable and straightforward, we discussed many options and possibilities my case could go. Mr. Hilliard worked diligently and was very professional the entire time. if i could give negative stars i would ! this man is an opportunistic slime ball who preys on people who don't know any better! in my divorce he did nothing! he didn't call one witness for me instead walked in and asked for a continuance knowing the judge would say know because he had plenty of time! then fell asleep during testimony long story short i lost my son to my abusive ex and now don't even get to speak to him ! why because my lawyer is lazy and does not care so hi martin remember me what you do affects people for the rest of their life! their is a little boy who can not speak to his mom or siblings because you did NOT do your job! and BTW how does a mom who has no criminal history investigated by DFACS and found to be a wonderful mom and was willing to say so by DFACS loose everything she owns and her child and her ex can be in contempt of court over 8 times and was abusive and had been having a year and half affair get full custody ? with mom and the other siblings never gettting to see or speak to him hmmmm think twice before ya hire this guy..

Martin is one of the most persuasive trial attorneys I have ever met. I honestly do not enjoy going up against Martin when I’m in court because he always seems to pull a rabbit out of a hat somehow.
