Wow...I regret not taking a look at these reviews before hiring this guy. ZERO STARS!
I hope I can save the next person.

Every lawyer I've spoke to post hiring him says he is an "ambulance chaser" kind of lawyer. You might have received mail from him just after an incident. He is cheap but then will try to charge you for every little thing along the way. Tried to scare me into paying him to file paperwork I was able to do myself w/ no issue. He does not remember anything. And he does not work on anything. He will misadvise you in an attempt to just resolve the case. I had to build my own defense which he continued to forget i went over with him. You are definitely better off representing yourself or getting a public defender. I beg u.. do not make your situation worse by hiring him. He does not advocate for his clients, he's just there to take up space.
He has no office, his computer is always crashing etc..he should just retire and stop taking advantage of vulnerable people's lives.

This attorney is extremely unprofessional. I paid him the initial payment outside of the office, made me believe (COVID protocol). NEVER MET IN AN OFFICE. ( I have presently asked for an in-person meeting. He responded by stating that he felt it not necessary to meet, because are discussing my case on the phone). RED FLAG. I had regular phone calls with him. He almost EVERYTIME did not remember my case or my name. I did not take this personally due to his age. He is a much older man. He advised me to take my case to states court, which delayed my case by 9 months! I am officially about to attend court, next month. He led me to believe my court case had a great chance of dismissal. But what he failed to do as a "GOOD ATTORNEY" is communicate that I would have to pay him extra on top of what I have already paid. I said, "Why did you not communicate this with me until we are a month out from my court date?" He proceeded to say that, "You didn't ask." REALLY?! As someone who has never dealt with the court system, I felt mislead and manipulated. I have court next month and I have no idea what to do at this point! So please DO NOT spend your money on a lawyer who is dishonest and completely unprofessional. I just honestly do not believe he is a good person and this type of abuse of knowledge and power should NEVER be allowed to represent anyone. SO PLEASE, spend your money on an attorney who practices law fairly and respectfully. We are hard working people and trust lawyers to do their jobs. RAYMOND STEIN DOES NOT. He was the first lawyer who contacted me, I should have known that you never go with the first interaction. Please spend your money elsewhere!!

Having no lawyer is better than getting this low life. Kept changing my court date without informing me, saying he needed more money, telling me to plea guilty so he wouldn't have to go back to court. When I told him I wasn't going to plea guilty to something I didn't do, he lied to the court stating I put a request for removal of himself off my case and of course didn't tell me. He never showed up to the court date and wouldn't return my calls. I'm out of the money I paid him and he messed up my case by binding it to state court. Every lawyer I spoke to said he made a complete mess of my case and didn't speak to anybody on my behalf. Paid another lawyer more money who got it resolved and they dropped the charges in two weeks where as the fraud took almost 8 months. I can't stress it enough do not waste your time or money on this pathetic guy. He's full of lies and is greedy. Karma is going to get him good

Terrible lawyer he ask for a deposit but won’t do anything until you pay the full amount he is super unprofessional he says one thing then says another he didn’t know if I was supposed to make an appeal letter and thanks to him my license may get suspended he stopped answering my calls and is very disrespectful on the paper he sent in the mail after my arrest it said the deposit was 100 dollars I get to his office he ask for 500 he is constantly asking for money so apparently his deposit is just for him to talk to you about your case when I call him he doesn’t remember my name air anything about my case he doesn’t listen at all just a very bad person and lawyer

We hired this lawyer for my son. He didn’t put in no work he told my son to just plead guilty when he gets to court. The money that was charged was for nothing hell we could’ve done that. We thought we were getting someone reliable and a person of integrity. I need my money back because he didn’t do the work. I felt like he just took the money. I wouldn’t recommend this attorney for anything.

Thank God that Raymond Stein gave me enough red flags over the phone before we actually met. First he started off rude, but I let that go. Already demanded cash before a free consultation was ever existed. He was late for our appointment, so I left before we could ever meet face to face. Oh yea big thing I forgot to mention, he doesn't even have a office. So please beware!!!
