When Canvas took over, I felt like a good friend died. Everything changed, no walk in service. Must have an appointment to sneeze there. No local phone service. Hint to Canvas, Western Colorado doesn’t want to call Denver for anything. We want to deal face to face with locals. We don’t want to ask permission from Denver.

Had a fraudulent charge and they refuse to help or do anything. Been with western Rockies federal credit union for like 10 years. Should have listened to everyone to cancel my account once it turned into Canvas before I was fraudulently charged $350 dollars. That I just can’t get back cuz my bank sucks? Way to take care of your customers!!! If I could leave a review while giving 0 stars I would. Unbelievable. The staff is friendly but the company is trash. Don’t know how they’re in business and how they can treat customers this way. I feel so vulnerable and most banks will help you get security back of your account. They say there’s nothing they can do. What a joke man

I just relocated from out of state and my experience with Canvas was welcoming, and straight forward. I would highly recommend this location. Justin was super friendly, attentive and made the whole process of getting my accounts in order very seamless! Glad to have joined Canvas.

Canvas Credit Union is a ruthless Bank that does Horrible business, if you are considering a loan do yourself a favor and stay clear away from this piece of trash outfit. They will botch payments and when you default they will repossess your vehicle with zero hesitation. Then when it is repossessed they farm out the vehicle to a company called Pro Found which seems to be a company based out of India. Once they have it good luck getting ahold of anyone.
Also the company’s that are repoing the vehicle’s look like Drug addicts. It’s no wonder I can’t pick up my belongings that this agency unlawfully acquired like thieves in the night.
Shame on you canvas!!!

Completely disappointed in Canvas Credit Union. Since they took over Western Rockies everything has gone down hill. The employees at the local branch are great, but the company setup is terrible. I'm tired of not being able to talk to someone local. Everytime you call you get a call center somewhere. The last 2 months have been nothing but 1 problem after another. My debit card doesn't always work. I got locked out of my debit card from 1 wrong PIN entry and then it took multiple attempts to get it changed. I'm still trying to change my online bill payment and I have utility companies tell me the account information I give them is invalid. I've confirmed my info with Canvas and they keep saying it's the other company's system not theirs. My family has been with the same credit union since before I was born. My first account was opened when I was 5....that was 1990 when it was still called Teachers Federal Credit Union. About time to find a new credit union, unfortunately.

When I first got my debit card the pin I set did not work then I went back to get the card unlocked and reset the pin. My card didn't work so I gave it a day or 2 and it started working. Last sunday I went to break and had over 750$ dollars into my account before I payed 18$ for breakfast I checked my account after and I checked my account and only had 625$ left and no one is answering the phones and the lines are miserably long when I am able to make in to see where money is going and the app does not show holds for anything. I would recommend any other credit union.

Canvas is the best! The Fruita team is amazing, helpful and super kind. They have great CD rates and their reverse tier savings is perfect for kids who want to start saving! The free coffee machine is awesome too. The Fruita Canvas rocks!

Canvas is a bunch of bank for the Boulder libs where it is ultimately based. Their current employees are extremely rude and it’s a true shame they moved their woke banking out here. I cannot think of a worse place to keep your money or take out a loan. I’d gladly pay an extra point never to deal with these clowns again.
