W. Scott Smith was hired to represent a family member who was facing charges as a first-time offender and has no prior criminal history.
Unfortunately, the representation fell short of expectations. The 5-star ratings on here fail to reflect the Scott Smith that represented my family. His demeanor was unprofessional; he exhibited rudeness, arrogance, and a confrontational attitude, often disregarding the client's concerns and refusing to issue a refund despite being overcompensated for inadequate services. After receiving more than half of the agreed upon fee, he failed to fulfill his obligations, and his interactions with the client's family were disrespectful including derogatory comments about their understanding of the legal process. During court proceedings, he appeared to be unprepared and tried to pressure the client into accepting a plea deal without reviewing the full discovery of evidence. Following the termination of his services, he continued to demand payment for the remaining balance, despite not completing the case. I strongly advise against hiring Scott Smith for any criminal matters, as his focus seemed to be on financial gain rather than providing competent legal support, and his claims of wealth only underscore his lack of empathy for those less fortunate. I have written a formal complaint to the Georgia board on behalf of my family member. I am writing this review because I do not want to see anyone else hard earned money get taken by this Attorney.

Like this review, this brilliant attorney didn't represent Me personally, He represented My partner on a very serious offense. I was pulled in by deceptive persons and some were lawmakers/ law enforcement.
Attorney Smith is a brilliant, and aggressive fighter with class and poise. He foresees the oppositions position and takes charge with confidence, pleasant and charmed demeanor, with pitbull tenacity and energy to defend His client. Not only did He fight and Win for My partner, He made some clearances happen on My behalf where I was pulled in and shouldn't have been.

My best friend who was falsely accused was facing 50 years in prison so he retained W. Scott Smith for legal representation. He was forced to take it to trial. When the prosecution presented their case to the court, Scott effectively cross-examined the prosecution's witnesses, challenged the credibility of their testimonies and highlighted inconsistencies to potentially weaken the prosecution's argument. Scott challenged the evidence presented by the prosecution so effectively, that the judge chastised the prosecution throughout their presentation. When it was time for the defense to present their case, Scott asked the judge to go right into deliberations as he felt the prosecution failed to present their case. I've never heard or seen anything like this in my life. My best friend's life was on the line. Not only was my best friend found not guilty on each count, Scott got his arrest record expunged as well. Scott is the best of the best. God Bless Him.
