If I could give zero stars I would. You should not be allowed to handle 988 calls. The 'councilor' and I use that term incredibly lightly was more dismissive than anyone I've spoken to during a crisis. Hell, when chatgpt shows more empathy and skills supporting someone in crisis its really telling. At the very least I've learned not to trust 988 during a mental health crisis, so I guess thanks for that.

This company and its generous contributors are such a blessing to all the communities and those of us in need. They've helped me immensely in the last 5yrs. The unfortunate effects of the COVID19 caused pandemic are; less in person interviews & mtgs, more stress on those employees & volunteers at VOA that must work directly and assist over the phone with all of the angry, stressed out, confused and impatient people. I pray that each and every one of these 'Essentials' is compensated in every way possible. By being supported not only financially by the employers but by the community. And mostly, may they realize their great worth. They need to be told often what an amazing contribution they make by having knowledge, empathy, and patience with each caller. And know to "Shake it off" when they finish their day and go home. ATTN: CALLERS! "HumanKind☯️Be Both"

Volunteers in America the west coast is the best provider for people with disabilities they are able to provide people with restoring their care and sustainability my only suggestion is is that they need to respond back a little bit more quickly to people that need help and also understanding need to work with some of the food banks in the city and maybe provide delivery service and think that anybody between an age of 18 and 30 should do this send me this in college somebody is an undergrade I think this would be the best place to go at also be able to provide a mileage for staff I think they would be more helpful and also more senses for traveling as for vacations and things around the country and they never would be extraordinary in his own right and you know providing a caregiver was on a resource that they would pay for them to do that and they never be very fantastic thing that grow people thank you

Honestly a waste of time. Did nothing even though I have a terminal medical condition. I had my own money to use, just needed help getting in. Lies, b.s., "we'll call you tomorrow" type stuff. Don't trust these people. Like many agencies here in Snohomish county, they are most likely pocketing money all with the blessings of local municipalities. Don't bother with these folks.
Response to their response
You asked me to reach out to you here on this platform. Why? Will you actually do anything for my case? Stick me with another worker who's playing pretend from an organization that is misappropriating funds and defrauding charities? Have me wait for months and blow my money time and time again just to live in a vehicle while NOTHING gets done. I was supposed to be contacted last Monday. Today I found out new worker isn't in on Mondays. Probably isn't ever in. Don't hate my review cause I called it like it is. If you would have done something for me the review would have been wholly different.

These guys are very cool and responsive, we honestly did not hope for any help, but they were able to help us with housing, special thanks to Alena, she explained everything step by step and was always in touch. Now my wife and I are happy that such people even exist. God bless you!
