I was quickly paired with an attorney for my probate needs. Mr. Bang was very knowledgeable about this area and answered all of my questions. He was also very friendly. The only thing that I didn't expect was that he would not be my attorney. The law firm Mr. Bang was a member of assigned me to an attorney with more experience. But no one at the law firm told me this was going to happen. The law firm should have communicated this to me but in the end I'm very happy with the attorney who was assigned to me.

Do not use this firm. I found their name from the Virginia State Bar referral service where you are supposed to get a 30 minute consult for a non refundable $35. I paid the fee, followed the instructions to call the office to set up a consult, got a receptionist who was unfamiliar with the referral system, who put me through to George Glass. His question was unfriendly and his answer incorrect. He indicated that a name change did not require a new deed of gift; however, the Frederick County real estate tax division stated that the only way to change the name on a tax record is to file a new deed or get a court order. Wasted $35, got incorrect advice, and was spoken to unpleasantly on top of it. If people hate their jobs, they shouldn't torture the people around them by continuing to do them. Will not trust the Bar referral service again.

EDIT: The referral service handled the issue perfectly and I appreciate the refund. Still want nothing to do with that lawyer.

Amazing service. When you call lawyers yourself, there's a 90% chance they won't take your case. But this group was able to find the perfect firm for me and one willing to take my case

I only received one phone call from the lawyers to whom I was referred - and that was just to tell me they couldn't help. I got a refund for the $35 fee and ended up finding someone on my own.

This is a wonderful service and being able to speak to a lawyer in a timely manner who is local and potentially hirable, is such a plus versus online lawyer chats. Such a small fee. The lawyer I spoke to contacted me on a holiday evening after I explained my need was time-sensitive. While I'm sure most of them don't do that, it was a wonderful (and nice change) to have an attorney go above and beyond like that. He was professional and very helpful. I recommend this service highly!
