The Van Buren VFW arranged to use the Senior Center for their annual Chili Dinner Pie Auction to raise funds for Veterans Christmas. They need nore space, especially parking space, than the post currently has. So I was able to see this lovely center that normally would not have been available to me.
The space was wonderfully open. We had plenty of room to maneuver between tables even when they were occupied. The exercise room, quilting space, a pool table, reading, relaxing or visiting side space were all comfortably appointed and decorated for the season. Restrooms were clean and the entire space was handicapped accessible. If you are a Senior in Crawford County and haven't been there, check it out. If you are a person or group needing a location for an event, this may be your answer.

So wonderful of them to open their facility to River Valley Art Students to display their work!! We enjoyed the reception, seeing all the wonderful works of art done by these students & watching them receive their awards!! Thanks for having us!!!

It's a great place for fellowship and to get to know people. It's $3.00 to get in and you play bingo and have lunch. It starts at 11:00.

I know this facility helps Mini elderly people with Meals on Wheels and also in house they have wonderful games and Carrie Scott is a wonderful leader of the community
