Do not recommend. Huge mistake with our mother. They received the wrong person, and if the mortician did his exam when she arrived on Tuesday, it would have been caught. Our mother was instead cremated on Wednesday morning. Valley Ridge waited 24 hours to exam, then embalmed the wrong person and realized his mistake. Called the original mortuary to confirm. He did not call us to see if they could help in anyway because of their negligence... we had to call them after the services to see about the amounts we had paid. Their response "we have a refund check for you", no apology, i how everything went OK, nothing. I asked to speak with the director, he left early because he was going on vacation. Wth! No empathy or decency to wait to speak with us. This business along with the other mortuary are responsible for this mess...

A woman who answered the phone on the third seemed a bit annoyed, irritated and frustrated with snickering. Can't anyone have any remorse for a deceased person anymore instead of trying to create more of it.whomever she was she was no help either.

As far as services, lack of customer service is an issue. I called to check on a death certificate for my mother, which i was inform it would be ready in a week after submitting all documents. When i called to check on it, Selena was very rude. She told me it would take two weeks and not one. I then said then i was missed informed and why i was told one week. Her response was "Like I said two weeks" and she just hung up on me. What kind of customer service is that? It isn't my fault i was miss informed. The staff there need to get it together and communicate. Management or Supervisors need to talk to there staff about that. Because one day they will be behind that same phone call for a loved one.

I would not recommend this place to anyone... We took our loved one here and one side of his eye was still open & his mouth.... and didn't not even look like our loved one... they wouldn't even let us see him...
your all better off taking ur loved ones to FLAGSTAFF

This place is horrible. They lack empathy and customer service. I hope their greed and lack of respect takes them down. They don’t deserve a star nor do they deserve to provide their services to our tribe.
