I highly recommend the law offices of Robert Montgomery. I found everyone to be compassionate and fair, with very reasonably pricing. There were no surprises on costs and they took the time to explain everything in detail. Travis & Kelly guided me through a difficult divorce and while always looking out for my best interest, they were still always kind and professional with my now ex-spouse, which made the process so much easier. The process is never simple, but Travis did an amazing job of helping me feel like I could focus on other things while he ensured that all of the details were taken care of. I contacted the Law Office of W. Robert Montgomery last May and discussed my situation of considering bankruptcy and obtaining his advice. He runs an extremely efficient staff of professionals based upon my experience in working with them these past eight to ten months!

His knowledge of the bankruptcy laws is outstanding and he does not throw out any bullsh@t like so many attorneys do. I filed back in 2004 with another firm but the laws were updated in 2007 so changes were made that one needs to be aware of and prepared for prior to filing.

Bob and his staff provided me with the basics of the new bankruptcy laws and met with me to prepare a list of activities and documentation that would be needed. We began the process of data collection and preparation until we better understood a possible filing date. Bob sat down and analyzed the best time we should file the case and we agreed to develop a procedure for accomplishing that.

The case was filed on January 24th after a thorough review of the documentation and my sign-off. I completed the two courses required prior to filing and my meeting with the creditors and trustees was held at the Byron Rogers Federal Office Building in downtown Denver of February 24th.

I am currently awaiting the discharge notice anticipated to take up to rwo months but I did learn great news that the trustee was not interested in my estate.

I would highly recommend Bob and his staff to anyone seriously considering and needing bankruptcy legal assistance. He is one of the best I have met and he truly cares about his clients as he helps them negotiate the bankruptcy waters.

Robert is easy to work with. He will solve any extra problem related to your case. He is there to work for YOU, his client. He I on good terms with the trustees and handles them very professionally. Just a pleasent man to work with.
Sheri is the secretary there and she is awesome. Always right on top of everything going on. She gets right back to you on emails. When you call she usually has the answer to your concern right off the bat but if she doesn't she will go find the answer and get right back to you.

They were wonderful at the beginning of my case. The original attorney I worked with was great and very much made me feel confident in this office. Toward the end, I had a different attorney and she cares nothing about her clients. If you have any HOA related issues, she will do all she can to help the HOA come out on top. Then, suddenly they "don't receive" paperwork required to finalize your discharge. I filed the final certificate needed and the release of Liens. They wanted more money to finish their job. They also have the title for my car so I get to deal with more of their talking down to me and they'll probably want more money to release my title to me. Very crooked, this is what gives attorneys a bad rap.
