I am so frustrated. No one should be treated like this.
I had an amazing conversation with Anne yesterday and a consultation with Alan this morning...
I was ready to hire Alan and then the payment email never came.
I am dealing with a bit of an emergency and it was expressed to me over the phone that we could get moving on this issue today.
Alan said "as soon as you get the payment over I can start making calls today" I was very hopeful and figured the payment agreement would come within an hour or so.
I had my consult at 9:30 am and by 2:00 pm I still hadn't received the payment agreement and I had to contact them multiple times over the next few hours.
If the office is extremely busy I understand that but please express to clients whats going on. I wanted to hire him because he acted like we could get this started immediately.
I did not like the texting interaction I had with Alan it was made very clear that he doesn't try hard to keep clients, which is a huge red flag---
The whole thing just felt very unprofessional and I wasted a very important day waiting on this law office. I could have handled this issue and be heading into the weekend with some peace of mind... but now I had to spend the afternoon calling more attorneys and I am stressed beyond belief.
Please don't do this to someone else.
I have never heard of an attorney that doesn't get a payment agreement to you immediately. Please communicate with your clients if it's going to take a day to even email them a simple agreement.
