Had an issue come up well after the above review. Scheduled a consult via phone. Received the link to confirm, and responded to confirm the consult. Paid the $100 consult fee. Had a couple of questions regarding the consult, so I emailed the person that sent me the consult confirmation... no response. Date of consultation came and no phone call, no email, nothing. Only good thing I can say is they have allegedly refunded my $100, according to an email sent to me from the accounting department. I will update once refund is received.

I came to the Harris firm to help with my divorce and at first attorney Bussey was my first pick. But after she left the firm I trusted Mr. David Miller to help with my case, which was the biggest mistake ever!! After paying $2,000 retainer fee, and speaking with him, he assured me that he had my best interest and his loyalty was invested with me. Well after a week of paying my fee, he calls me three days before my hearing to discuss my case, we show up for court, missed the time slot to see the judge by 2 minutes for an early trial. After missing the judge, and countless attempts to call him, Mr.Miller finally explained to me that he couldn’t help me and unfortunately I would have to move out my home and find another place for me and my son to live. Mr.Miller worked on my case for three days, missed the judge for court and still kept my retainer fee after knowing I had spent the last of my money hoping he would help my case. He didn’t help me at all, and I was also losing my home. When I asked Mr.Miller about my retainer fee, he said the money went to the hours of paperwork he put in on my case, when in fact my previous attorney had already established the paperwork and follow up for him regarding my case. I feel used and cheated out of my money especially after not doing a single thing for my case at all. Mr. Miller is a blood thirsty attorney that took my money when he made no impact on helping my case at all. Honestly giving him one star was not even my choice. You are wrong Mr. Miller and God will hold you accountable for your misdeeds and for mishandling a woman of God when she trusted you with her last, you didn’t earn not one dime of that money, I basically paid you to talk on the phone. SMH!! Shame on you sir!! May God bless your wicked heart and money hungry soul.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the services provided by The Harris Firm. I paid my retainer fee in August of 2023. Over the next several months, I received billing statements indicating that emails were being sent to me regarding my petition. However, I never received any of these emails. In December, I reached out to the firm to ask if they had been sending the emails to the wrong address, which was baffling considering my correct email was on all my paperwork.

After the office finally corrected my email address in March 2024, I was assured that my case would be "moved to the front burner" due to the significant delay. Despite this promise, two more months passed with no updates. In May, I informed the firm that I no longer wanted to be a client. After this, Mr. Miller promised to send my petition for review by the end of the day on May 9th or the morning of May 10th. May 10th came and went without any communication.

I emailed Mr. Miller on May 10th, but received no reply. In June, I called again and was told that either Mr. Miller or Katrina would contact me, but neither did. I left two voicemails for Katrina in the last two weeks of June, none of which were returned. On June 25th, I emailed to terminate my services with the firm, yet received no response.

Finally, on July 3rd, after multiple calls to the office, Mr. Miller called to inform me they would be shutting down my case. This entire experience was an enormous waste of time and extremely frustrating. Almost a year has gone by, and I never once saw said petition. This has made me feel completely robbed and I regret ever pursuing my case with The Harris Firm.
