Can't make 1st. time appointments need to call Valley number to get applications approved. I decided not to use them couldn't ever get anyone on the line to ask questions about services.

Legal aid can't even point you in the right direction..thier just like the county court house given you the run around...and they can't give you information for some stupid reason.. So much for the freedom of information act...

I called the 1-888 number and the lady was very rude, it seem to me like she was annoyed by my questions when all I wanted was answers to keep my family together. She didn't even help us or gave us advice where we can get help...it was almost 5 PM so I figured she wanted to go home...anyway I hope she doesn't have to go through what we have to go through.

Ive been on hold for 3 hours as I type this. Yes I have that much patience and fortunately the time right now. Idk what type of phone system they have but I am super disappointed and sad 🙁

Going to a legal aid office was our last hope of getting any help for our son once my son filled out the regular paper work we was told sorry but we can't help your son " lack of resources" it boils down to money I should have known better than to believe that legal aid would help our son but let me just say this of course I had no choice but to accept what was told to us and as luck would have it we then asked for their assistance a second time and guess what the legal aid people once again could not help our son and handed me a 800# number for a private lawyer's which will cost only my arm and leg together so now I have no lawyer i can't even ask any questions on son's behalf we will be depending on a court lawyer (legal aid) what a joke when it comes to this town corpus christi

Takes a while to talk to a person but they are very friendly and are very concerned of you have. Have to wait to see if there's someone to take my case.
