It's best court system I been to for breaking the law and penocodes .I'm paying my fines and programming for fine reductions. Thankful for not being on death row and numbered.
Even has great evening machines foods and drinks.
Bathroomw are clean. We live in a town or city called Merced California and if look at most of the people going to these courtrooms are plain just bad folks even how they dress.
I close my message and guides lines for the world to understand y'all.
I'm determined not to be visiting everybody because that means I done bad choice. Okay ending email

First time calling, took forever to answer the call and even picked up the phone, the staff were rude and impatient speaking.

they run a court house like They own it . judge told me i look guilty, judges are not supposed to judge theyre supposed to be blinded from being biased. refused to throw out tampered evidence, changing court dates without defendnts knowledge, judge was friends with victim and refused to dismisss himsel, D.A was asking for probation and judge gave me 16 months in jail. Merced is nothing more than Kangaroo Court. there is no justice. Not with these people running things

Very clean, anytime I have been there it's been pretty fast. The staff including the Sheriff's are professional and respectful (as long as you are with them).

I know government systems are all money hungry and slow but when I say this is the most useless group of people under one roof that’s putting it nicely. The clerks are rude and ridiculously unhelpful and self help is A JOKE. This is the most unorganized and uncouth department in the city!!!

I've never seen such unprofessionalism, corruption, and bias committed in one place. This family courthouse doesn't care at all about the children their decisions are affecting. How can Judge Shelley Seymour allow perjury, and take away a father's right based on the mother's hearsay without any proof? Not only that, but the lies this judge, mediator, and child counsel was able to do is upsetting and disgusting. The child custody order was filled with complete false information, and when the father pointed it out, they still left it all in there. The child custody order was everything the mother wanted, and nothing that the father did or say mattered at all. There should be an investigation with the corruption happening in this county courthouse. This shouldn't be acceptable!

My only experience with this courthouse is through family court, so some might see my review as biased.

The lady Jan, in the family law office has always responded to me very respectfully. I understand that their job are limited and to not give advice, but she is not rude about telling me that she can't do something. This last time I went into the office I needed to check on my contact number since the courts mediations are being done via telephone. She went above and beyond to ensure that the mediator knew my correct contact number for that mornings call.

The officers stationed at the courthouse are always very kind, respectful and helpful.

I've encountered a couple of the mediators. Its important that the mediators are unbiased, don't pick sides, nor sway towards one party over the other. They are helping the courts to make a very important decision for the children and they should always be unbiased. Lawyers should not be able to request a specific mediator to attempt to pursue an outcome for their adult clients. When a lawyer requests a specific mediator they are admitting to the court they are aware that that mediator knows where they stand on issues and can be "bought" due to having a personal relationship/connection for their adult clients. Afterall, its about the kids.

So far the one mediator that I've encountered that I feel was very unprofessional was Matt Bovenkerk. He nicely laid out his expectations before we started and they were 4 simple rules for both parties to abide by. However, in my case, Matt definitely leaned towards the fathers side on this call. Let me explain. He kept the rules the same during the call, shutting both parties down if we said anything while the other party was talking and attempted to just take intake information. But, when it came to give our "summation of reasons" as to why each party was asking for what they wanted, he obviously read the others party's paperwork and allowed him to give his reasons without issue. However, when I began to give my reasons and the other party interrupted me and Matt could not get the other party to stop his interruptions and started to say he no longer wanted to be on the call, Matt just said "ok, im ending the call. You can go to court". He could have at least told the other party that if they wanted to hang up while I continued to give my summation of reasons than they were welcome to end their call, but he still should've taken my reasons.. Instead, Matt literally ended the call forcing me to NOT be able to give my reasons like the other party, basically punishing me for the other party's misbehavior. This should not have been allowed and was very unfair when it comes to incredibly important decisions in regards to children.

In regards to Family law judge Shelly Seymour: She only listens to one side, apparently it’s ok for the parte who lost custody to break the existing court order continuously, and instead of enforcing the order, she revised the existing order to best suit the parte who lost custody and breaks it. FLJ also appointed a horrible minors counselor (Stephanie Perez) to our child, and a horrible supervised visitation facility (Midge Ecks) for our child to visit the other parte and allows the two (minors counselor + visitation facility) to do as they please & believes their false reports on the father w full custody. There is hardly any justice done and it took the other parte to abduct child 2x before father was appointed full custody. Not once but twice. Father had to have The DA of child abduction present evidence to the judge in order to even believe or take the matter serious when the father presented these serious abductions. Without the DA of child abduction, father may have never gained full custody and child would have still been stolen for more than the 1 YEAR child was already stolen in Mexico. Mind you the minors counselor yells, and makes threats to father when he asks her to enforce the court order to the other parte when he has evidence other parte is not following it, and minors counselor helps the other parte to gain more visitation every chance she gets. The whole family law system in Merced county is unjust and biased. The father has asked the FLJ many times to please appoint another visitation facility and another minors counselor and every time he request such thing he is denied. He’s provided proof that the minors counselor and visitation center are problematic and too emotionally invested with the other parte with no custody and FLJ still allows them all to do as they please. Mind you the facility the judge appointed the visits to take place at allow the other parte to go into the restrooms alone and tell the child that they’ll take her again to Mexico and to lie and say bad things about where child’s living to the facility manager who’s also a counselor to the child so that the child can “go home soon and never see father again”Child has told both Visitation center and minors counselor that other parte has said such thing and it gets brushed off by the judge. If you want an unfair custody battle MERCED family law is the place for you. If you want your child who’s at risk of abduction AGAIN to go back into the hands of the person who abducted them in the first place, MERCED family law is your place. Regarding Judge Shelly : The prejudicial bias and family -law incompetence is strong with this one.#Fathershaverights #keepfighting #dontmissabeat
