We have been extremely unhappy with Stericycle's services and customer support since August 2024. Since then, we've been incorrectly billed, and despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue, it remains unresolved as of February 2025. Each time we have a scheduled pickup, there are recurring issues—such as the wrong bucket being brought, and no containers available for replacement.

Whenever we try to escalate the issue, I'm never able to speak to a manager, and it feels like we're just going around in circles. To make matters worse, when I attempted to cancel our service, the sales representative told me I couldn't and that there’s no one higher up to speak with regarding this ongoing issue.

It's been incredibly frustrating, and I would not recommend this company based on our experience.

This business runs scams. They continue to show up at my facility and attempt to charge for services despite no contract and denied entry every time. When attempting to escalate the concern, they tried to tell me that I did have a contract and proceeded to send me legal documents for an entirely different business.

I would give no stars if I could as this company is inept. The did not drop of the recycle bins as initially directed because they did not get the correct information from the representative I spoke with which was needing the bins left at the premises to fill. They delivered the bins a week later and scuffed up my walls in the process. I later got 2 statements and have called at least 3 times to contest this. Two times I’ve been told it was an error on their side which would get corrected and yet I continue to get statements.

If I could give this company one star I would. DO NOT use this company. They don't pick up as scheduled, they don't answer their phone, when they do their customer service is awful, and now my lease is up and they want to charge me $800 to cancel service. Maybe if you picked up my biohazard like I pay you to and answer your phone I would take you with me to the new location. They will be harmful to your business if your business license relies on them picking up your biohazard on a regular basis.

This company is a total scam. Would give zero stars if able. They do not pick up when they say they will. They forced an MA who was in training to sign the contract. They do not care about their customers and are taking advantage of small business in COS.

If I could give zero stars I would, they never come when scheduled, there system is a complete joke, if anything, this company should throw themselves in their own trash. Don’t use this company unless your looking for a good joke.

This company is an insane scam. I regret that I didn’t expect a biohazard company to try to scam me. I emailed and called them at least 10 times over the last 3 months. No one ever responds or picks up or calls back. Now that Im trying to end my service, I am told I signed for a 5 year service contract and I have to pay them the rest of what I would owe for 5 years. The person on the phone named Mia, offered me a cheaper plan and sends me a document to sign for it. I check my original contract, and it does not say I signed up for 5 years, however the new one does. She is trying to scam me into signing for 5 years. Now I am calling lawyers.

I am updating my review from negative to positive because after some time on the phone with Julian Cruz I was able to explain my situation and he took care of the issue and fixed the charges that were made to my account ( I didn’t call for service or request anything, woke up to a unexpected bill on my account ) I’m giving stericycle another chance maybe they are not as bad as the reviews here. I believe that I can continue my service without anymore stress. Thank you again to Julian Cruz for providing a great customer service and for being very professional.
