I would highly recommend Mr. Stephen Stern and his law firm to anyone looking for an exceptional attorney. My experience working with Mr. Stern was wonderful. Stephen is a miracle worker! A perfect communicator, very prompt on responding to calls texts and emails, and very quick to resolve all questions or concerns. He’s definitely on it!! If he sends an email to anyone regarding my case, he checks in daily with that person until he gets a response and I love that!! That was the trait that stood out the most, is that he didn’t just wait for them to respond, he checked in daily in order to get a quicker response. He was persistence, direct, honest, and extremely educational on all tasks at hand. He demonstrated integrity throughout the whole process and accepted nothing short of the best outcome for me as his client. I felt safe and protected in his hands and trusted him fully. I needed several updates to my Trust. I chose the wrong attorney! Mr. Stern told me two hours at $350 per hour would suffice. When I requested two sentences of further changes, the billing hours doubled. He sent me a final draft and proposed signing. I was shocked to find many errors: from inexcusable misspelled words in emails and even my Successor Trustee’s name to very alarming discrepancies in beneficiary funds distributions! If I’m paying $350 per hour, I expect careful attention to critical details. When I informed him of all the errors, he agreed to refund half my $700 deposit; he should have refunded all of it! When I picked up my Trust copy, I discovered one more example of his sloppy work: a large water stain on the cover, as if it had been carelessly used as a drink coaster. Be prepared to oversee every word of your documents and to overpay for very unprofessional legal work.
