A Critical Review of the State Bar of Arizona: A System Designed to Protect Corruption, Not Justice
The State Bar of Arizona claims to "serve and protect the public" and regulate the legal profession, yet my personal experience with this organization has exposed an alarming level of corruption, bias, and outright negligence. If you are seeking accountability, fairness, or ethical legal oversight, I urge you not to waste your time with the State Bar of Arizona—they are not here to help you. Instead, they shield corrupt attorneys and legal professionals, ensuring that their own do not face consequences for their unethical and illegal actions.

An Unanswered Plea for Justice
I submitted a 25-page complaint detailing the egregious legal misconduct committed against me, with an abundance of irrefutable proof. I expected a fair review, a response, or at the very least, an acknowledgment that my concerns were being taken seriously. Instead, I received silence—not even a basic response in writing.

When I called to follow up, I was met with hostility. The person I spoke with admitted that 14 attorneys reviewed my complaint because it was that serious—and yet, they refused to take action. When I asked for their decision in writing, I was hung up on. This is not how a transparent, ethical organization should operate. Why refuse to provide written documentation? Because they know they are protecting corruption, and any paper trail would expose their complicity.

Arizona’s Legal System: A Deeply Corrupt Machine
What became clear to me throughout this process is that the State Bar of Arizona is not about justice—it’s about protectionism. They exist to protect attorneys, judges, and prosecutors, even when there is undeniable proof of their misconduct. The Bar’s failure to act is not due to a lack of evidence but rather a deliberate effort to cover up corruption within the legal system. It has become evident that Arizona’s legal system operates through backroom favors, unethical alliances, and a complete disregard for the very laws they claim to uphold.

In my case, the prosecutor refused to listen to a judge who advised caution and more time to think through the case. This reckless behavior went unchecked. The State Bar of Arizona refused to intervene, despite the fact that I was a domestic violence victim, homeless, without family support, and dealing with significant mental health struggles. They ignored every single mitigating factor and chose instead to protect those in power.

No Accountability, No Oversight, No Justice
The fact that the State Bar of Arizona refuses to put anything in writing regarding their so-called decision is a glaring red flag. It proves that they know I am right and that the misconduct I exposed is real. If they were confident in their conclusion, they would have no issue documenting their findings. Instead, they choose to hide behind phone calls and dismiss complaints without explanation. This is not justice. This is not fairness. This is blatant corruption.

A Call for Federal Oversight
The corruption within Arizona’s legal system runs so deep that there must be federal oversight and an independent review process for the misconduct of attorneys, judges, and prosecutors. The State Bar of Arizona is a joke, an organization that masquerades as a regulator while ensuring that the legal elite remain untouchable.

Final Verdict: The State Bar of Arizona Is Part of the Problem
Do not waste your time seeking justice through the State Bar of Arizona. They will not help you. They do not hold corrupt attorneys accountable. They are not here to protect the public—they are here to protect their own.

Arizona’s legal system is one of the most corrupt in the country, and the State Bar of Arizona is one of its greatest enablers. Do not trust them. Do not rely on them. Demand something better.

They didn't do anything about my ethics violations on a ALJ and attorney from his law firm tried to hear my case and didn't disclose their relationship. Then the ICA in retaliation closed my case and didn't make the company pay me the back money they owe me.

the person handling the complaints for the Arizona bar is So unethical and unprofessional with such arrogance it's easy to tell he does this to certain people often. He said that he didn't know about any law any law about unlicensed professionals. I had to send him the Arizona ruling to prove to him that unlicensed practicing of law illegal. He wouldn't investigate and told me that he is the only one I can talk and any calls I make will go to him so for me not to try to continue to get justice. I spent 20 asking him for a supervisor Non-Stop, because he couldn't give an articulable reason his denial. He told me if I filed a complaint it's only going to go to him. No one should treat someone else like this especially if Justice hasn't been served or even investigated. If he's done this to me he's done this to a lot of people.

Since he didn't give me his name I don't know who to complain to I emailed the judge and they forwarded the emails to Tom he sent me an email saying again that everything's going to go through him but he won't give me a supervisor's name.

I enjoyed speaking with them and learned some interesting facts. They are very careful not to cross lines legally, but are fair and kind. They were even concerned when I mentioned a longer wait time to speak with a supervisor. But my call dropped, so that wait was my decision: I had options to leave a message instead.

Glad I waited to submit my charge. It's hard to prove many things; I understood it was important not to allege something that ends up becoming a he said/she said situation, since those usually are difficult to get anywhere with. If you suspect bad faith, be patient and try to get them breaking the rules IN WRITING or with witnesses... Maybe in a court filing, or catch them in a lie... Lol it's not that hard. Sad kind of how bad it is out here, dang

I have dealt with this organization twice. Despite having evidence in the form of court transcripts, false filings and recorded conversations they still did nothing. They stated over and over again that they don't punish people for practicing bad law. A judge must rule they were deceptive. They will call the lawyer you complain about and just take them at their word. Dealing with this organization is a waste of time. Matt McGregor and Ms. Vessey, there's a special place in Hell for you and people like you.

Awful! I don't trust lawyers as it is, but this place solidified it. They are supposedly the ones to "investigate" any wrongdoing/ethical issues with lawyers. I filed a complaint after being encouraged to do so by at least five different lawyers. They didn't do anything to investigate it. They just called the lawyer, asked a few questions, and then said he didn't do anything wrong. They never asked him to provide proof or else they would have seen that my "lawyer" failed to do many things, including even requesting all of my medical records. To date, I'm still paying for health care but didn't even get enough money in my settlement to cover my bills. This place did nothing. They asked nothing. They didn't bother looking into it. Completely unprofessional and incompetent.

This place isn’t as bad as people say it is. Yes I get it it is frustrating when you have too rehash the situation but these people here are genuine when they tell you they want to help you 🙂 the staff are understanding to what happens on the outside world and outside world issues however they are still people and they are good at expressing empathy while maintaining professionalism 🤘🏾🫶🏾
