Hello, I have never written a review on anything my entire life, I am 48 years old. I went through a divorce and was saddled with the credit card debt. I was approached by a phone solicitor saying that Spring Legal group will act on my behalf and negotiate my debts. I enrolled two credit cards (Bank of America and Discover), my program began in December of 2020 with $620.00 monthly payments. By 2022 one debt had settled for a reduced fee but apparently the paperwork was not filed by my appointed Spring Legal attorney and my paychecks were garnished. I phoned and phoned but actually had to handle the funds from global by myself to miss being sued again. The second card was never settled and my credit is in shambles now. If I could talk to myself 4 years ago I would say do not do this! I felt I was swept under the rug and had no one to help me. I was lost, confused, and unsure of my options. Please rethink using this, or any other consolidation company. I have nothing but sorrow and anxiety because of Spring Legal.
I have paid more than my enrolled debts to Spring Legal and still worse off than when I began. Financially and mentally. I have un-enrolled in the program which saves me money monthly but still owe my creditors.

Don’t ever do business with them. Every month we paid our $600 plus and maybe $200 went into our account payables. They never negotiated a single one , not show up to court, or file legal paperwork. I did it all myself. They never were helpful. It’s a brain ache I wish I could go back and unlive. Also, they continually raised my amount needed. And at the end of my contact, there were still open debts ! Don’t trust them.

A complete rip off 2 of our debts were not paid, took our money. Now we're trying to recover our credit and in ligation with a attorney. Wish we could sue them for taking wrongful funds out of our escrow account. After 4 years still in $24,000 debt.

THE WORST!!
Not only did we end up paying $5,000 to them within the first year, they ended up letting us go as clients due to them getting sued and having legal issues. So we lost money, and never even got all the debt resolved. Whatever you do, please for the love of god, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

We have been with Spring Legal Group for 3 years now. It took a while for them to settle any debt we had. I started seeing accounts being settled, but others do not have any type of pre-settlement, etc. But we kept getting letters from courts and attorneys regarding litigation on one account. We finally settled with them on our own. I have had to settle with other accounts by myself, because SLG isn't doing their job. I have taken all the information they have and have contacted accounts/creditors myself and had made settlements myself and will do so with others. Since they are in a lawsuit, which makes a ton of sense, hopefully we all will get the money back that they took for upfront fees. We have decided to do it on our own and not use Spring Legal Group anymore. Do not use them.

I've tried contacting Spring Legal Group, but no one seems to answer. No one picked up the phone each time I called after waiting at least an hour—horrible service. God forbid you need to contact them to authorize a settlement.

I started getting court documents 10 TEN months ago about a judgement against me. I uploaded to cs@ springlit as I was told to do.
I reached out, after 2.5 hours on hold I was told all is under control. More documents uploaded that I keep getting from court. Reach out again with 2 more hours on hold etc etc etc. ALL IS OKAY.
Currently my wages have been garnished. I had to reach out to a separate attorney on my own to
Negotiate for me. ( they weren’t very willing to negotiate with me because they had their lien/garnishment already) I ended up having to take from my 401k to
Pay this debt. 3 years at 700 a month and only $10,000 was settled. I withdrew from the program and now am actually considering bankruptcy.
They apparently aren’t negotiating any settlements for ANY of their clients because they have a lawsuit against them, but they will continue to take your Monthly payment and lie to
You.

I will say they settled all of my debts except for one, however, it took over a year from enrollment to settle the first one. Now I am out of the program with one debt in collections and I can't get anyone on the phone to get information. I have called multiple times requesting end of program documentation, being on hold for hours with no one ever answering. When I did finally speak to someone I was told it would take 5 - 7 business days to obtain the information through email. I explained that I was trying to close a loan and needed the information. He "spoke to a manager" and I would have it by the end of the day. I didn't receive it. I called a week later, being on hold for 5.5 hours and again, expressed the urgency in getting the information. I still don't have it. Even waiting the 5 to 7 days, yesterday was day 7 and I still don't have the information. Don't assume your account will always be available, print your documents immediately because you will never be able to get in touch with anyone afterwards and the deactivated my online portal. I also emailed them and haven't received a response from that either.
