This is like the Kmart of the sporting goods chains now. Drove here cause online it showed they had the ammo I wanted but in actuality it was out of stock when I came in for it. Not sure how this place stays in business truthfully. Ordered ammo I wanted online from a competitor. You lost a sale because your inventory is wrong.

Never buying online or in store again ordered a ice hut they had in stock online to try and save some time 3 hours go buy still pending I didn’t get a time frame or anything so I go in to see if it’s just a glitch nope it hasn’t “gone through the system yet” like holy moly and this guy behind me an employee was saying some shit under his breath l absolutely hated my experience I canceled me order and now I don’t have a hut for my trip this weekend thanks yall for your help absolutely terrible service

Really neat place. There was a pretty descent selections of sportsman bargains throughout the store. Nice selection of firearms, bow, camping and fishing equipment.

I did find some awesome bargains. Like backpacks which were $99 for $14, Sterno compact camp stoves for less than $6, and 2 lb meat stick packs for about $9.

Yeah... I could've easily spent a small fortune in there. They do have a rewards card program in the store, so it is a good idea to sign up for it.

It’s so disheartening to see how far a business has fallen. I remember Sportsman’s being an amazing place, always being able to find what I need and never struggling to find an employee when I had questions. Now it seems I have to hunt down employees for help because nobody works there and ask the cashier to ring up a product because it doesn’t have a price tag on it or anywhere around it. The firearms buying process is a joke too, sportsman’s is the only place I know of that makes you wait an additional 24 hours past the mandatory wait period. If you are looking to go to sportsman’s, just don’t. Take the additional 2-5 minute drive to head down the road to Scheels where the employees are readily available and customer service is abundant. Anything Sportsman’s has… Scheels does too.

I liked shopping at Sportsmans. I was just in there and bought some targets. While paying for them I was told by an associate I needed to check in with them if I'm going to open carry. She said I needed to unload my weapon so they can put a plastic strap through it. I'm not allowed to have ammo in it. I've never had an issue with open carry in there. (They are a gun and Sportsmans store.) Guess I will be going to Scheels down the street from now on.

Saw a black friday deal for a mossberg shotgun and purchased it for some wyoming hunting. Had it shipped to the wyoming store in time for my trip. Traveled all of the way there and spent probably a half hour at the counter running my background check. Got to the final step and was told me they could not sell to a California resident. During website checkout I clearly stated that I was a california resident. You would think that somewhere along the way they would have figured this out. I would have brought a gun from California if knew sportsman's warehouse was this incompetent. I will never step foot in another one.

This store is still lacking in the customer service area however my recent experience shows they are trying. We came in looking for a depth finder which was out of stock here. Ryan from receiving went above and beyond to find us one and have it shipped to the store. This is a welcome new addition as in the past we have only been told to go online ourselves to find things for ourself. I'm hopeful the store will continue to make improvements.

This place is a joke anymore. I wanted to go here to support them instead of scheels but the customer service at scheels is 100% better. The guy working the gun counter tonight was so lazy he couldn’t even go ask a guy in the back to help me in the archery department. Then I had to go find someone else to try and help me and she acted just as annoyed. Eventually no one helped me and apparently an archery specialist is only there on Wednesdays… this place will be out of business which is a sad ordeal but give it 5 more years. I won’t be going back when I usually go here for my mtn houses, game bags, etc. there is no one to ever help and if you do ask they act annoyed
