It's a shame there's no option for a negative rating in this review system.
I'm writing this review to warn others and save them time and emotional distress. Silverstein showed anger management issues and racial discrimination. Knowing I'm not a native English speaker, he would scream on phone calls. When he misplaced my file and couldn't process my case, he agreed his mistake WITH SHOUTING!!! He eventually refunded me, but I lost two months, wasted time, and had to find another lawyer. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this unprofessional service.

After my husband and I separated, I felt so desperate to find someone to help me out, that I did not do a background check, credit check, or check references on this person. I let someone with a teenage daughter, three cats and a dog move into my home. Within the week, I knew that it was a huge mistake, as she did not pay the rest of the rent, or security deposit, and when she gave me COVID, it was time for her to leave. I gave a 30 day notice, however she said that there was nowhere to go, so she was not going to leave or pay the rent. Trying to get her out on my own, cost me my health with COVID, so my law office referred me to Mr. Silverstein and his office. The reception was professional and friendly. After talking to Mr. Silverstein, I admit, it was a little tough hearing that I got myself into this situation, sometime the truth hurts. And so, I put on my big girl pants and hired him. Within the week a three day notice was attached to my front door. After the three days, Mr. Silverstein follow-up with me to see if she paid or left, two days later they moved out. I want to thank you Mr. Silverstein and staff for your expertise and follow thru, it could have been so much worse as it turned out these people were homeless, and serial squatters and had no intentions of leaving my home . If you want things done right, stop being cheap like me, and hire this law firm, his prices are very reasonable. And stop leaving negative feedback when you don’t like being told the truth or the correct answer.

I received a illegal 3 days notice on my door. I contacted the attorney that was on the paper left at my door. When I called the receptionist was very RUDE. SHE HUNG UP ON ME FIVE TIMES, WHICH I HAVE A CALL LOG (she said she was the one, who created paper that was sent) . This is highly disrespectful on so many levels.

I called to have a better understanding about document, I have never went through this process. I have live at my apartment for over 8 years never paid my rent late. New owners purchased buildings in August 2023. At the time I had an ongoing bed bug and mild infestation which manager did not want to fix this issue and no heat? City got involved and code enforcement and fair housing. The landlord has committed forgery and falsified documents and has given me a breached contract to sign as new lease agreement (which is not legal) SHE ALSO WANTED ME TO SIGN A CLAUSE THAT SAID I HAD NO BED BUGS OR MOLD.

it's now July 2024, I've had the last bed bug treatment in July 2024 (10 months of bed bugs) I have been harassed by apartment onsite manager for four months. She has also, given me 24 hours notice at unreasonable times and dates (I have Proof) she has lied on documents and nothing she said adds up with documents, emails, phone calls and text messages. I had to get a temporary restraining order onsite manager and send a cease and desist letter for the harassment, discrimination, trespassing and unreasonable notices , harassing children & other things. the landlord (trulee Lee and Lee Revocable Trust (has asked me to move five different times, and is allowing her onsite manager to continue to harass me. Which I have everything documented along with police incident reports (3 different ones).

My overall review is not a fun one, because of the way your receptionist handles calls. I have also studied LAW. YOUR (receptionist) isn't happy with her job title she should find ANOTHER JOB!!! VERY SIMPLE. Even if I wasn't the client, she would want to understand why I was calling. Instead she purposely hung up on me even when I asked to speak with someone else or attorney. Again, I was only calling to get a better understanding. Now based on your reviews this TREATMENT IS NORMAL FROM YOUR LAW FIRM.. TERRIBLE. I WILL CONTACT BAR ASSOCIATION AND FILE A COMPLAINT

This attorney and his law firm I do not recommend. He lied on court documents. Stay away.

A lawyers .lawyer. Mr Silverstein and his office have it down to a science. He is efficient and inexpensive. A credit to our profession and a rare gem. In one call his office.got down to business. Extremely impressed.

The poor reviews must be disgruntled tenants on the other side and persons who expect attorneys to work miracles with the poor facts presented.

I called Attorney Silverstein to handle a recent tenant eviction case. Unfortunately, my communication with him was limited, horrible and I felt he wasn't fully invested in achieving a favorable outcome for me as a landlord. He has no respect for people. I would not recommend his services based on this experience. KEEP YOUR SELF AWAY FROM THIS GUY.

Over the years, I have worked with Mr. Silverstein on numerous evictions and have accompanied him to court many times. Even in the most complex cases, he has never lost a case for my clients. I don't hire Mr. Silverstein for his personality; I hire him for his unparalleled expertise in evictions. In my experience, he is straightforward and efficient, never wasting anyone's time.

For these reasons, I will continue to choose Mr. Silverstein whenever needed. He is the best in Orange County.
