We (a group of LPs) needed to renegotiate our incorporation documents, and Steve provided prompt feedback on terms we needed to address, was helpful in framing negotiation tactics, and patiently walked us through terms that we needed to understand. I knew of Mr. Sherman's excellent reputation in helping businesses in financially significant legal matters, so took a chance to ask his assistance with a personal situation which, though with fewer dollars at stake, was also important to me in terms of good neighborhood relations.
