Small Gambling hall with no hotel attached. This place has a lot of charm and variety. They have table games and roulette, along side an assortment of slot machines and video poker. There isn’t a high limit room here. The denominations go from a penny to $10. I like the assortment of 3 reel machines upstairs. They also have plenty of cartoon machines like Buffalo and Huff ‘n Puff.

I had a great experience at Saratoga Casino in Black Hawk! If you’re a blackjack player looking for affordable tables with great odds, this is the spot. They offer $5 minimum, $200 max blackjack with a 3/2 payout on 21, which is a rare find compared to the bigger casinos that only offer 6/5 payouts and higher minimums ($15+).

Beyond the great blackjack setup, the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, without the overwhelming crowds and noise of Ameristar or Monarch. The dealers were fantastic—super welcoming and engaging—and the cocktail waitress was quick and attentive.

Saratoga may not be the flashiest casino in town, but if you’re looking for great blackjack, fair payouts, and a laid-back vibe, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Didn't win, but at least they let us play for a long time. The restaurant was phenomenal! Donna was quite possibly the best server I've ever had!!! Large portions. Potato leek soup was outstanding! Genius move on putting refried beans under the shell for the taco salad so that the whole salad didn't move around in the bowl when trying to eat it. I'll use that trick at home!

Need to consider not baking the potatoes in advance and then reheating them, though. The baked potato needed some TLC.

This is an all slot place. Nice bars here and only a small variety of table games. If you like slots go here. The restaurant is nice. But expensive for what you get but it is nice.

The past two times I’ve tried to come out, sadly it’s closed or the tables weren’t up, but man this down to earth casino grows on you. The dealers hype you up when you win, and don’t give you that snarky Vegas sass that can sometimes get annoying. They talk to you like a normal person, sometimes a man just likes to have coffee and play blackjack at 9:00 am 😂😂

Their breakfast place is an absolute must as well, better food than a diner and cheap as can be, almost a ritual for me to eat there every time I come up. I just wish there was a clear place to see if they’d be open that day or hours of their tables, when I make the trek up and it isn’t available, that bad mojo follows me to ballys and I lose 10 blackjack hands in a row lol. I’ve since banned ballys.

Saratoga is hands down my personal favorite casino in Blackhawk, keep it up!

Great ambiance, friendly staff, clean facility. Well taken care of by employees, which says something to the "regular patron" who stays past the Promotional fluff offerings of typical casino lures. Loved, loved the fried pickles! Everything here is top notch, from service to food

Tried to pick up a players card and check the casino out about 20 minutes before they closed. They decided they didn’t want to issue me a card so close to close… so I guess I won’t be playing here. (I will only make one attempt at a new casino, so no business from me)
