Sara has been absolutely amazing and incredible during the whole process. I was really terrified and didn’t know how to navigate this whole process of going through a divorce and I had been quoted cost of about $10-$15,000 and I came across Sarah‘s information and reached out to her and she was absolutely incredible. She was there for me every step of the way I had millions of questions for her and she took time out of her own day and answered all my questions and she helped me so much every single step of the way in addition to all her help she help me with advice and encouragement during a really difficult situation. Sarah states in several places on her website as well during her informed consent process that she is a therapist this uniquely qualified as a mediator.

It was because of these unique qualifications that my spouses ex insisted we work with her instead of someone with a lower rate (because they’re not pretending to have qualifications they don’t really have).

Sarah is, in reality, not a therapist and never has been. She has the education to be a school counselor which is a completely different education than a therapist and doesn’t require licensure.

After being a school counselor she has some experience as a coach (requires no education, certification, nor licensure.)

From what I can tell, her mom is a qualified mediator and went through a short Brene Brown certification course at some point, but not Sarah.

So at best, it seems Sarah is has spent some time being adjacent to qualified people as opposed to being qualified herself.

Two stars because mediation with her was fine. Nothing was accomplished but nothing horrific happened that I’m aware of.

If Sarah decides to be honest about her qualifications I will consider removing this review.

She was nice and ok to work with. I asked questions regarding alimony and child support and she didn’t offer much knowledge in that area. The mediation process was slow but it got done. My opinion is it was an ok experience.
