Keep getting denied for Cal Fresh despite having sent in the information requested. I have upload receipts and verification from different workers I did. I have called my worker cover 6 times and left messages to no avail. The only time I hear from her is when I’m denied. I had $4 dollars to my name when I applied and spent a month or more thinking I could get some help. I moved to this county from another county and never had this type of experience. Very disappointed.

i went in thinking the service would be better in person rather than over the phone. took hours to get back to me only for them to say they would give me a call for an appointment. a week later and i’m still waiting on that call so i did it myself and the lady over the phone was no help said she couldn’t do nothing for me.

They are always loosing my documents or saying I never turned them in when I have receipts. They always tell me I can use the childcare center but no one is ever there working or she’s in there eating and not excepting kids. I’m a single mom and don’t know anyone in the community so I’ve been relying on the child care center. Since I can never use it I’m always rescheduling my appointments. I’m super frustrated.

I started the first time with this county then I moved to Hesperia and I still prefer the advance and I've been to Victorville and Hesperia for years and they have not served me well only in Adelanto

Very crowded, not one person had a smile on their face it seemed as everyone hated their jobs. I had a few questions about medical insurance and was never helped I left after an hour. I do like the fact that the place is there to help people in need and I just keep telling myself there are individuals that still have that fire they had when they started.
