Kevin is a great lawyer, I was a bit hesitant from the beginning since their prices are much lower than other lawyers, but in the end Kevin was able to dismiss all 3 of my charges. I will say it is sometimes hard to get in touch with their legal assistants when you need to talk to them, but they eventually will get back to you. Definitely recommend these attorneys for anyone who is looking for affordable but still effective, professional attorneys!

I want to start by saying THANK YOU to Rocky Mountain defenders Attorney Kevin Vander Werff and his team. Kevin was always on top of his work. He not only showed amazing professional skills as an attorney, but truly cared about my son and his life. His staff sent reminders to my son and myself for every court date, place and time. He helped my son with multiple cases. I remember the first consultation with a staff member (Bart) and he said "we need to save this kids future". They treated and fought for my son as they would have for their own child/young adult. When I first hired this firm I was helicoptoring because I thought they needed my help. They didn't lol. They are the experts and it took so much weight off my shoulders during the process of courts. They do their job with love and real education with the law. My 19 year old son was facing 3 felonies and many misdemeanors. Because of Kevin, my son closed his cases with ZERO felonies and a couple misd. He seen potential in my son and honestly, the prosecutors did as well. Kevin has great relationships in the justice system. THE MONEY WAS NOT WASTED. 100 percent trust in this Attorney. Thank you Kevin and team for going above and beyond to give my son a second chance at life where it could've been screwed up if it weren't for you. much respect

Kevin and his staff are great! They are always really helpful. My Domestic Violence case was resolved by plea in abeyance. Kevin was very helpful at explaining and helping me make sense of the process each step of the way. If I have any other cases I would recommend Kevin.

Can’t say I would highly recommend nor would I say that I don’t recommend using Kevin and his team. Overall I think it was a waste of money and a public defender or just self representation would have done the exact same job and it would have been free. That being said I have not had a bad experience with anyone or any process of Rocky Mountain Defenders I just feel like they didn’t really do anything to help me. Kevin was there for 2/5 court dates and I had to reach out to the office for both occasions to have him get on the zoom meeting pushing me back and making my zoom court dates both well over 2 hours each. Kevin gave very little help in the negotiation process with the prosecution and just told me that it’s up to me but I should take the first and initial plea deal they were offering and obviously didn’t read my case or watch any of the footage from the incident. So with that, if you want representation just to take a plea in abeyance which you can get just by representing yourself then definitely worth the money.

Kevin and his team at Rocky Mountain Defenders have been great to work with. When I originally called, Kevin took the time to listen and understand my side of the incident. He gave me great advice, and made me feel better about my situation. We achieved good results in court, and I was satisfied with the outcome. Unfortunately I had another incident happen recently where I needed Kevin’s advice quickly. He picked up the phone at 8:30pm and was able to give me legal advice right on the spot when I needed it most. If I end up needing him again, I know I’ll be in good hands with Rocky Mountain Defenders.
