I live over in Christiansburg and my family and I love coming to the Radford library! All of the staff is really helpful and resourceful; We love coming to baby story time because of the atmosphere the staff creates for the kids! I love all of the different options of media that can be checked out like DVDs, video games, and they have day passes for the children’s museum or backpacks the kids can check out to take with them with supplies to learn about ecosystems or animals, etc. I’m really sad to learn they’re having to close some days due to Radford City budget cuts. A budget cut to the library is a direct budget cut to the public and all the great resources and opportunities the library offers to the public. I hope that is figured out sooner rather than later.

Amazing experience, but I don't know what to use a Library for anymore. I used to go Roanoke Libraries or ones near Roanoke all the time by walking with my siblings, cousins, and family members. We would get DVDs and books from it. Sometimes, before it closed, we would play games like Roblox on the free monitors they had.

It is nice to be able to actually walk in to the library and stay for a while. Extra nice for me, as I use their reference materials and equipment to do genealogy research. The staff is still wearing masks, but the public is not required to. Their schedule is back to normal also. They are closed on Sunday, which is normal for the summer. *please be sure to 'like' if I've helped in any way. Thank you!

What a great library!! We saw the Tempest by the Shepherd Shakespeare Group and all of the children and adults alike were thoroughly entertained. The staff members are amazingly knowledgeable, helpful and kind. Wonderful programs. Can't say enough good things!

I was amazed at the amount of new books that were available in comparison to my hometown library. There are also a ton of movies and mini-series and TV shows that can be checked out. The director is incredibly friendly and helpful, too!

Very clean environment. Helpful librarians who genuinely seem to care about patrons. Always pleasant and upbeat!

Favorite library I've ever been to! Im a super anxious & shy person but its unbelievable how comfortable I feel in this library! I love the staff. They're all so wonderful. The selection is fantastic. They also have awesome programs for younger & older people. Perfection! 🙂
