Castrejon is a corrupt and costly lawyer who works for her own self interest and systematically loses family law cases. In a time of severe desperation (divorce), she had the appearance of being decent, yet lacked the experience, skill and aggressiveness necessary for a high conflict divorce. Shes smoozey and then cold as ice. She charged me over $200,000- for her inept "services", to the point where I believe she must've turned on me. With poor excuses, she never showed up for our Custody Settlement, didn't negotiate our Parenting Plan, wouldn't document my ex's violent criminal history of felonies, wouldn't object to or prepare me for a custody eval, didn't object to the sale of an inherited property, gave bad advice for an appeal, and wouldn't even talk to me without replenishing my 10,000 retainer. It was a shocking disaster.
Read the Family Law Code, watch the Judges carefully and most of all, be attuned to your lawyer. Research and hire a skilled, experienced, and hopefully faithful attorney because they're doing the talking, strategizing and negotiating for you. Until she gains more seasons, skill & loyalty, she just isn't one of them.
