The PBP organizes a vast network of attorneys who volunteer their time and resources to help the community. Their staff attorneys and paralegals are dedicated and kind. Hopefully you never need their services, but you will be happy they are there if you do!

Called this company asking if they could help me with my situation and the woman over the phone immediately told me “we don’t do that” while I was mid sentence and didn’t even get to continue sharing my situation. I called to ensure whether or not they would be able to help me and how would they know if they aren’t aware of what my situation is? Disgusting and very unprofessional.

Since 1986, The Pro Bono Project has assisted hundreds of individuals with legal matters and facilitated the donation of hundreds of hours of pro bono service to our local community. If you received service from this organization, please consider leaving us a positive review. As a volunteer attorney for this organization, I am proud to leave a 5-star review. To The Pro Bono Project staff, keep up the hard work and thank you for your time and dedication to helping those in need.

The Pro Bono Project offers valuable services to the underprivileged in the Greater New Orleans area. As with all free services, they only can cover so many issues with their limited resources and cannot help everyone. Through their work, people are able to keep their housing, declare bankruptcy, get divorced, settle any estate matters as well as protect the rights of children in the system. They serve the elderly and veteran populations as well as the poor and the working poor. The community is fortunate that they exist.

I've been volunteering here for years off and on. Staff is always pleasant and helpful. My clients have all been wonderful. I've not heard a complaint about my work and would take it seriously if I did. My pro bono clients are every bit as important as paying clients. I don't get why people are writing negative complaints for free services. None of that has been my experience.

The Pro Bono Project of New Orleans provides invaluable civil legal aid to disadvantaged families and individuals. They make a difference in lives by helping people battle issues that require a lawyer whether it be helping someone receive disability or having claims properly paid by an insurance company. The Project provides access to legal services for people who otherwise just can't afford it.

The Pro Bono Project provides valuable services to the community. While they can’t cover every area of law, the areas they cover are invaluable to the community. I’m so glad a group like this exists.
