We absolutely love our local library (even though we’re Alabaster ?) It’s especially wonderful for the littles, of whom I have one that is 3, and she adores their P. J. Storytime with Ms. Ashley, (and Ms. Rachel) along with bubble time, crafts, and cookies to take home! The entire staff is wonderful! Also completely appreciate the attitude and intelligent interesting suggestions from the teen librarian, who’s often at the front, as well. Could probably shout out to all the librarians, but unfortunately I’m terrible with names, sorry, you guys! There’s good spaces upstairs, also, for adult meetings. And I also always find the latest sci/fi-fantasy novel I didn’t know I needed to read, and non-fiction, as well. Again, great library. You should definitely check it out (get it? sorry had to)

Everytime i go in the staff is very snooty and get pissed if you ask for help. i Brought movies back the other day and walked them in. Staff was snooty and said about 50 times i could have just put in drop box. Once was sufficient didn’t need to be told that 50 times but this is how they act everytime i come in there. Really would rather go to Alabaster really nice staff. I have other people i know that live in Pelham say the same thing happens to them in there too.

The library staff were so unhelpful! Every question I had I was told to basically find out myself by looking on a computer. I am confused as to what is their job description? Events that are being held at the library I was told to go on the website. Very weird energy! However the library itself is very beautiful and clean.

Great experience. All of the individual rooms/offices were occupied, so I had to sit in the open but had no issues. A library worker actually helped me find a wall outlet to plug my laptop in that was under the table.

I am visiting my daughter and we went by the Pelham Public Library. It was very much like our library in Florida, loved the children's section it was very cute. So much was available from DVD to Audio books. Enjoyed the experience.

Friendly staff. In spite of what Google says, this is a part of Sshelby County, not Jefferson. It's highly frustrating when you're short on time and Google gives you the wrong information.
