They recently sent me a random invoice for $7,488, which is now 11-years after their representation was concluded. My account was paid in full since 2013 when their representation ended. I have heard nothing from them since until this new invoice, that only included a business card for Emily, their client relations person and a return envelope for payment. I immediately emailed Emily with Patricia Jo Stone and Justin Jeager copied requesting confirmation the invoice was erroneous and asked for written confirmation within 48-hours.

Emily responded the next day, “I believe I have resolved this billing matter after receiving information from Justin this morning.” I again requested written confirmation the invoice was in error, they had performed no work for me since 2013 and there had been no open matter with the firm since 2013, mostly because a belief is not written confirmation of their error. I waited not only the 48-hours I originally requested, but an additional 48-hours before posting this review. As of this review, Emily, Paricia and Justin remain unresponsive, despite me providing them additional time for a proper written response resolving their error. A pretty upsetting random bill and unresponsive approach 11-years after parting ways with them being fully paid for well over a decade.

As background, I hired Justin Jeager in July of 2012 on a consulting basis for a Pro Se child custody modification proceeding that was fairly simple. I aimed to navigate the issue efficiently, but wanted legal advice and a professional review of filings. I initially found the consultation option attractive; however, as the modification progressed we transitioned from a consulting arrangement to traditional representation for this modification matter.

Unfortunately, Justin’s abilities were dramatically limited at the time. He was verbally clumsy, unorganized and generally ineffective in the courtroom. He took excessive time to prepare items that other attorneys I worked with since were much more efficient in navigating. The problems and inefficiencies Justin brough to my case led to Patricia agreeing to a reduction of billed fees following the final outcome on this modification matter. The agreed settlement of fees was instantly paid in October of 2013 and we parted ways. There has been no contact either written, billing or verbal since with 11-years now having elapsed. That is until the recently received erroneous invoice.

What’s more, shall they feel there was somehow a balance, they don’t feel the need to send bills or in any other way communicate for 132 months on such a fictious balance?! Clearly, the firm fails to understand how to use their billing system, how to promptly and properly fix their billing errors and/or Colorado law related to statute of limitations. If you’re looking for sub-par representation that overbills then sends random $7K+ invoices 11-years after their representation ends, hire these guys. That is exactly what they provided for me!

I highly recommend Matt Perkins if you are seeking fair justice in any case or simply need advice! He has high moral and ethical character that is rare to find! Instead of letting his high moral standards contradict the justice you seek, he allows those values to legally align with and further validate and support your case. He generously helped me with a case where the defendants did not want to pay for any damages done even after admitting fault. He remained consistently supportive, professional, level-headed, fair, respectful to all parties, and was very timely. I did win the case and cannot thank Matt enough for his generosity and selfless acts of service through it all!

I can't say enough to express how amazing Justin Jaeger is. 5 stars doesn't even come close to what I think he deserves. I have been involved in an extremely hostile custody situation for a year and half. My ex has turned everything he possibly could in to an all out assault against me, my family, my friends and my other children to the detriment of our child. Justin has been compassionate, kind, hard working and extremely knowledgeable in every aspect of my extremely difficult case. He is fair, honest and treats all parties involved with decency and respect. Justin has and continues to go above and beyond every expectation I ever have. He listens to me and works hard to ensure the best possible outcome for my child. Justin took the time to really get to know me, the situation and every aspect of the case front to back. His approach to handling these cases is what all other attorneys should strive to accomplish. I am so very thankful to Justin and the rest of the staff (they all are fantastic!) for all they have done and continue to do for my family. All you'll need is a few minutes of an initial consultation with him to see just how much better he is than any other attorney out there. Thank you Justin. You've been a life saver...literally and figuratively!

Jo was very helpful in setting up a family trust and other estate planning for me and my wife. The finished products were neatly arranged and she took the time to go over and explain each document. We're looking forward to working with her for our estate planning needs in the future.

Great office for our familiy’s legal needs in Parker. They handle a lot of different types of cases and businesses, kinda makes for a one-stop-shop right here in town. Plus I know Jo because she’s really active in the Parker business community. Friendly staff and great lawyers. Definitely recommend them!

Had 2 "lawyers" from this firm and not one knew what they were doing. Unfortunately I could've saved the money and done better by myself. Neither did as I instructed one even sent emails to opposing counsel things that were not true. And put in orders without me reviewing knowing I wouldn't approve them. It's as if they never knew what to do. Do not let them represent you! Because that they will not do very well.

This is my family’s law office. They were great in handling multiple estate issues over the years and they did my divorce. If you want a lawyer that can handle different family law cases these guys are great and we’ve been with them for years. Highly recommend!
