Beautiful hike, looks like a movie. Lots of colorful flowers along the trail. The stairs down to the water hole are very very steep so take your time going back up.

This was a beautiful little hike with an amazing waterfall and swimming hole at the end. We watched some people cliff jump into the pool and enjoyed dipping our toes into the crisp, cold water ourselves. The hike out was a little more challenging for my out of shape self, and it was warmer, so that didn't help me either. I'm sure most people would say this is a relatively easy hike, though. I would absolutely come back for the beauty of this place!

This place is stunning! 🤩 it’s become much more crowded and touristy but worth the visit. The hike is moderate with stairs. About 10-15 min hike to the cove. Lots of steps and loose dirt so wear decent shoes. Not much space for chairs but being a blanket or towel to lay out on. I suggest a cooler backpack so you can carry food down. I don’t recommend packing a small grill or anything. Make it easy on yourself! We took a 2nd trip 4th of
July weekend and took the kids! They had the best time and participated in the cliff diving. Wear water shoes- lots of rocks!
We walked the trails and enjoyed the sunshine! The ranger does watch so I suggest following the no alcohol and smoking policy. I saw some kids get ticketed.

Great little swimming hole with cliffs you can jump from, as long as you aim for the deep section near the waterfall! This is a popular location for young people in the summer and is a great spot for a picnic. It isa little less than a mile hike and there are some moderate hills on the way in, but nothing to worry about. It can get crowded in the summer, especially on those last couple of weekends before school starts in the fall.

First time ! Definitely worth drive. Easy and very beautiful hike towards the cove. the cliffs manageable climb to the jump pad , once you’re there though you have to commit ! It’s well worth it ! I will say though I was able to touch the bottom every time , so I don’t recommend pencil diving or diving in general. Great times !!

Extremely worth it to come visit this spot. I came during the fall and it was really beautiful and nobody else was there the entire several hours I was there. We hiked to the cove and saw the small waterfall and spent time just taking in the views of the gorge and surrounding forest. A must visit place if you like hiking and nature during the fall and winter, and for swimming and being outdoors in the warmer months. It’s free during the off-season but there is a small fee during the warmer months so beware of that. Parking is available in a small gravel lot. Pretty sure there is an overflow lot as well but that parking on the roadway is not allowed.

Family friendly and a beautiful trail to walk. There are stairs that lead down to the cove where people are enjoying the water, jumping, or simply watching others. They’ve done a great job cleaning up the place and maintenance. I would recommend packing lightly if you plan to stay for the day. You can follow the creek down where there is more areas to hang and enjoy the water. It’s $6 to park (only card), bathrooms, and picnic areas. People are coming and going all day so don’t leave right away if you don’t find parking at first.
