I brought some papers in to be shredded like I had done previously. The papers were weighed and the amount written down. I put the papers to be shredded in the container. I went up to the counter to pay but employee in the office services section would not let me pay there. I was given a slip of paper and told to take it to the cashier. When I was rang up there was a $1.50 fee added on to the amount. I did not know about this before hand. I was told this is a recent change in policy and paper below a minimum a weight are charged a fee. If I had known about this before hand I would have come back with more papers. The office services person that weighed my papers said nothing about a minimum weight. Then I deposited my papers in the container so it was too late to do anything about it. I paid the amount because I was in hurry and did not have the time or patience to argue about this. I hate being cheated. If I had known about this before I would came back with more papers. I hope that $1.50 was worth it because I am not returning to your store ever again.

The lady behind the counter wouldn't help me. Not everyone is computer literate. I just needed one copy of something off my phone, there was no one waiting to be helped. I said to her that it didn't copy and she just laughed. It's not like she was slammed helping customers. It would have taken her 1 minute, if that to help me.

This OfficeMax has knowledgeable associates and is clean and well-stocked. Evan, the associate assisting me, went way above and beyond in helping me select, assemble, and load two office chairs into my small car. Jerry at the checkout was also very courteous. I highly recommend this store.

Very expansive store with excellent customer service by the associates. They are always willing to assist their customers to find out of stock items too! Also, their Print Center handles to the best of their ability many printing projects creating beautiful greeting cards, posters and banners. They even create coil bound books which are much more flexible than paper or hardbound books. I also love the level of expertise of some of their Print Center associates who can expedite the creation of invitations, business cards, banners and posters. Great place to purchase coffee, creamers, candies and much much more!

No one working in copy department. 2 sale associates on cash register . . But on one would assist. One was qualified. There were no customers to check out. Only 2 people in the store.

I forgot to take note of the name of the woman working the print center today, but she is amazing! There were a ton of people waiting on various things, phones ringing, multiple print jobs happening, aggravated customers, and she handled it all with both speed and grace. I rarely encounter this kind of customer service and good use of multitasking in the world today... thank you! Give this young lady a raise.

I spoke with Evan Desoza when I was in a panic over the phone about my printer connections. He was very pleasant, helpful and patient with me. How nice to have someone who likes his job and the customers he works with. Thank you Evan for you great help!

*Update * went in today people were making copies ( non employees ) I asked a guy behind the counter a question he said he didn’t work there ( also a non employee behind the counter ) we found what we needed without seeing any employees and made our way to the register, did I mention zero employees found or seen anywhere . I had to go to the window of the office and look in she was lower than the window ( maybe hiding) she then came out and rang us up .

All I needed was a fax …. Simple right wrong. I checked in using there log in station it said wait time 3-15 minutes well it ended up being 16 minutes on my text . As I stood there someone came in from outside didn’t check in and was served right away. Finally a person from the other side of the desk asked me if I needed copies, I said I need to send a fax . She pointed over her shoulder and said something to the effect that I need to scan into the computer then go over to the cash register to pay for the fax I didn’t send yet then go back over to the copier I used to manually punch in the code on the receipt. The machine she wanted me to use was older than she was . Really, get up off your butt and help me . Someone hollered isn’t the machine working ? I hollered loud enough the back of the store could hear what I was trying to do and she wasn’t helping me because I needed help, I yelled out I am going elsewhere. You know Zero people said I could help you nobody. I went to the UPS store, they were very helpful and understanding. They had no problem helping me send a fax .
I don’t recommend office max for anything. Go elsewhere.
